Exactly, the old watch designs just looked amazing, they looked smart and classy, and now they look more and more sporty, as if they're all Red Bull editions or something.
The only design that looks nice is the Casio Oceanus, but the price on that is ridiculous.

I honestly dont know what happened. the Edifice range used to stand for subtile or classy 'upper range' of what casio had to offer, but ever since their partnership with RedBull which has come to an end within the last year or two i think, Edifice have been quite sporty and come down in price so much that having an edifice holds no more prestige.

A few years ago I paid a lot of money for an Edifice EQW-T720DC

It was so hard to get I had to source it from out of the UK for a hefty price. I even visited some of the mini malls in Hong Kong where its just 3 floors of watch shops and none of them had this model either, but it sure as hell exists all over the internet.

Then again, To some people...a watch is just a watch and if it costs more than £10 then its a waste of money.

a friend of mine actually bought two of the red bull editions but regretted it a few months later... I cant say i blame him

Your watch looks better.

Yeah, the one I bought was exactly like this: youtube.com/wat…q6M
Still going strong today, but it had such a unique and high quality design, these new watches just look boring and nowhere near as nice.

ugly watch.

I'm not a Casio fan but I quite like it.

I quite agree! They've gone from Edifice to... unedifying!
