Thank you OP - one of the nicest looking Edifices - solar and sapphire too - what more could you want

46mm is possibly too big for me, sadly. Looks like a lovely watch for the price, though. Also, 10% off if you haven't already signed up for emails. New price now £71.10, which is pretty damn good for a solar Edifice with sapphire crystal. Might just get one in case my wrists fatten up.
Thanks OP
Just ordered one
Thanks, couldn't see how big the strap is - the website just tells you the wrist size of the model wearing the watch!!

These Edifiis look ok when you're browsing, but I found I got bored of the look after a couple of months. The watch face doesn't have any detail to interest your eye when looking at it, it looks like an inexpensive watch.
So you end up buying different strap to funk the look up a little bit, but they never quite hit the mark, plus they just look too big on a wrist diameter less than 7.5".

Anybody interested in an Edifice EQS-600BL (genuine black leather strap) plus genuine stainless steel strap?

For £79 it will do the satisfaction. You get quality glass, solar powered, excellent timing and date. Look depends on person character. Not everyone has same taste. Of course if you want something sexy then you need to spend a lot more money or get lucky with good discount watch. However, this watch is good for the price!!!
I own this watch and have a black strap with blue stitching

I'm still happy with my S530D.
Well, at some point I'll treat myself to an Oceanus S100 partly because it's simpler, though also not having to mess with the date/time ever. (Though I appreciate those who care will be able to tell it's higher quality too, that aspect doesn't bother me particularly.)

I felt my s530S is about on the limit for my fairly slender wrists - I do have reasonably sized hands etc, which perhaps helps.

I geddit. It's less than a hundred quid, it is what it is and specs are higher than most other offerings give for your £.
Not really good looking watch.
Anyone know of a nice watch with leather strap for slim wrists ? Thankyou for your help
For those that changed the strap... do I need to buy any special watch tools to remove the metal bracelet? Wondering how easily I can just remove links from it, or change to another strap. What sort of straps should I look for? Thanks in advance.

You don't really need a spring-bar removing tool.
Easy access to release the spring-bar, as the link joining strap to the watch isn't a solid piece of metal, there's space for you to use a jeweller's 1.0 or 1.4 flathead screwdriver, might even be able to get away with just a toothpick if you don't have one those lying around. Anything that's small enough to leverage against the bar's notches to compress whilst lifting away from the watch.

Look for 22mm straps you like, all the recent ones I've bought have come with the tool so the job is very easy.
