Why but multiple of these type watches? I get why someone would buy one, as functionally they are great. But I don't get owning several, these are tools not fine collection pieces. Would be like buying lots of hammers!

Felt tempted at first but this model seems pretty limited in how much it utilises it's Bluetooth link with a phone

Because I like them. There is no reason to have just one watch for every occasion. I like to treat myself to a watch and the G-shock watches can take a hell of a beating and the Edifice are good watches.

Surely in the world we live in, we should embrace difference and if I have the money to buy (reduced) watches and it isn't harming anyone then where is the issue??? (And I'm not taking offence, just trying {Maybe weakly} to justify why I do it)

Think that's harsh tbh. Despite not being in the league of a luxury watch, Casio's offer a great product for the money and can look pretty stylish so can see why someone would have multiple.

Hey it's your money so I wouldn't presume to tell you how to spend it, I just don't understand is all. Why not have one as a beater and put the money away towards some higher tier watches if you truly enjoy it? Or buy one and a bunch of straps? But hey, each to their own.
