Casio scientific calculator, incuding solar panel. Boasts 260 features! Perfect for GCSE and A level maths, in fact recommended!!!
Claims on packet to have 3 year guarantee.
Last one only lasted a few months before it got stolen - don't think that counts.

On display in store with yellow label down from £10 to £5.

Quite a few left in St Peter's tesco Worcester.

Not sure if nationwide. Probably is as the kids are now back to school.

I too have heard of the iCalc and it's rumored to go for around £300.

One reviewer states that the calculator does stutter and fail to function correctly if you hold it at the bottom left corner.

Just wait until the iCalcG with integrated Wifi hits the shops. lol

Has your Casio fx-85 GT Plus not worked that out for you?

I went to the Milton Tescos, near Cambridge, and they only had the 83-GT for £5, sure it was the 85 for £5?

this calculator is very good! i bought it from morrisons a few weeks ago and its getting slaughtered each day with a ton of equations from my a level physics, maths and chemistry courses and it works fine still :D!!

Damn - just bought one from Ryman for £9.99
Got a free Oxford Stationary set with it, so can't really complain.

# A heads up - If you're like me, you'll want to change the mode on the calculator from MathIO to LineIO.
It tells you how to do it on the plastic cover.

it works on me in peterborough. nothing else displays half price, but paid £5 on self service counter

MathIO is quite cool though. Seeing as the display can actually display graphics it seems a shame not to do it. Otherwise it's a bit like buying a colour tv then turning the colour down and watching it in black and white!

Just got two. Thanks OP

Both the GT 85 Plus and the GT 83 Plus scan at £2.50 now, though still marked at £5.00 in the special display "box" in Crawley Hazelwick.
