Enough stock in my region at least. That's a pretty good deal, for what it is a zero-maintenance, virtually indestructible watch.

It's an ugly G-Shock. Not very bulky or durable looking, like normal. Pity.

I think it looks quite smart.
If only I could justify buying yet another watch...
:-)
I'd love this if I was 15, but then I don't suppose I'd have £56 to buy it.

You are just assuming eBay customers are much more stupid than Argos customers... which is not true
Ordered. I have a digital tough solar and it's a great piece of kit. Always fancied one with hands
Actually ... not ordered ... Argos cancelled my first order and asked me to order again. I did and they cancelled the order again. Not meant to be I guess.
Great watch, I have two of these.

Never need to worry about the battery, setting the time and date or the odd knock.

Well, take a look on Ebay now these are on for £130+, so I'm sure people will happily pay around 80. Amazon selling for £99.99? Argos will either stop selling them or hype the price up again sooner or later.
It's a nice watch to be fair.

what's the difference between Backlight and "Indiglo nightlight" ?

I wonder are the straps on these more robust than the sub £10.00 Casio digital watches ?

It has a light feature that works for showing the hand position but useless for the digital display.

Indiglo Nightlight is the lume.
One of mine has lume on the numbers & hands, the other on hands only.

The strap is decent. Plastic rather than the better rubber straps though.

Went to buy this, no where to enter the voucher code. Chatted with one of their agents, code not usable with watches.
Does anyone have the same issue

Just worked for me! Pay now crashed hit back on browser then was able to enter code and it where're jewel25 and job done
I made the order which seemed to go through on the website, but then I got this email:

"Your FastTrack order has been cancelled. We have arranged a refund into the account that you made the purchase from. You will receive your refund within 5 working days. If your collection window has not expired, there has been a problem with your order. If you still wish to make this purchase, please order again."

Tried ordering again and got the same email.
Same as above. Keep cancelling and refunding the order

just got mine, box looked battered, product inside looks fresh but prob taken out and put back in. looks used to me
Exchanged for a new sealed box in Westfields Stratford, box is completely sealed with plastic film cover bag. Typical Argos selling box opened stuff as new.

just compared this with my other gshock and the time is running 10 seconds too fast! Now I wonder if the time will sort itself once it has synced with the atomic clock.
Hmmm mines been opened as well better go and exchange it

Maybe when you were 15. Have you seen the spending power of 15yo nowadays? They buy the same stuffs that their favourite celebrities buys just like the ones in their politically correct fashion magazines. The worrying thing is that the parents I.e. our generation is the one paying for it.

As a 15 year old I can say that most people could afford one easily, but I can't think of many people who would want to spend over £50 on a "rugged" watch. Actually, why would 15 year olds want watches, when they always have phones on them...
Bought a Casio Solar about 2 years ago from HotUKDeals for £15 I believe. Not sure if the radio is worth the extra. Great watch except for a couple of minor issues. Watch is a bit fat and doesn't fit well under shirt cuffs. The white lettering wears out quite qui
Unable to check out. ""Sorry! We've had a problem with the link you have selected."

They did take the money from my debit card but no confirmation email.
Nice watch. Double nectar points at Argos if you go to site via nectar.com too

Really want this but OOS for home delivery and 5 days lead time to store when I will be away. Argos delivery system is really messed up and has cost them my business more than once.

Just picked up- nice watch, had a similar one for 4-5 yrs which has been tough as nails
Managed to get one. Cheers OP.
Ive had an aviator style for 5 years, still going strong. Although this is not as good, a solar powered radio controlled gshock for £56... absolute steal! Bought for my lad who wants a gshock for his birthday!

and if people don't like the strap, chuck a better one on for £15... £70 still great value
Not sure anyone actually got one for £56 - they cancel the discount because it is a clearance item so the code is not supposed to be used - be interested to see a copy receipt if anyone did get one. I had two discounted orders cancelled before I gave up. Heat added though as price good enough without the discount!

Well people have already said they have had them. I've had it at this price, so too has a friend. Sooo
I tried to order one in store with code but they were briefed not to allow. So order online with code and used with PayPal and collected 5 minutes later for £56.

Just been to pick mine up. No seals anywhere on the box or on the tin. Told them I didn't want it and they just refunded £74.99 to my card. Easier than selling on eBay!

Can someone confirm what type of seals should be on these? Box? Tin?
Got mine cancelled too.
Ordered last night and collected today without issue. A nice mid sized G-Shock
