Nice spot @m15hbah

Reading a previous thread for the same item this seems to have a 10yr battery life and some excellent reviews.

I like that in the video clip the boy has the watch on the wrong way round so wouldn't be able to actually read the time.

It's a good watch, bought for my son 6 months ago.

The strap and/or brackets that hold the strap in place will go about 7years before the battery in my experience with the plastic/resin Casio watches.

Which is a shame 'cause I love the retro aesthetic. Always go for the metal strapped ones now and they're way more durable.

Still, V. Hot for the price OP!

Got this watch
It was a present bought for me in 2005/6 iirc. Strap broke a couple of years ago but the watch is in a drawer and still working.

If only mobile phone batteries lasted as long...

theres a few half price casios at £9.99

ended up buying this argos.co.uk/pro…175
like the retro look with g-shock durability

I got this last time and use it regularly - looks fine and worth this price.

I have the same one, got mine from the watch shop last year for £50. Bloody great watch!!!

Goto holiday / beach / poolside watch for me - virtually indestructible...

Had this watch for a few years now, I bought it because of the larger display.

Good little watch but the strap is on the smaller side so I ended up giving it to my son as it fits him perfectly.

good watch for the price, although my strap broke after about a year of daily wear

Often discounted and Amazon often match this price

Perfect! I've wanted to buy a Casio watch for my 6 year old nephew for Christmas. Love the 10 year battery life.

Thanks OP.
Most of these have small digits, difficult to read for the optically challenged without glasses.
One review states the hour/min digits are 6mm tall. Good size.

Heat added. I wear one for work and it gets hammered. Looks cool with it being square and all the info is easy to read.

My wrist is 7.35 inches and fits me perfectly with 3 notches left on strap.

Either your wrists are an 8 or you are wearing it closer to your elbow.

ok if you're a child or have woman wrists or if you're not morbidly obese lol

Had a couple of these watches. Battery lasts forever. Straps last several years in my experience - I used to wear them for running. Great for a beach/pool/work watch.

Great watch had mine years, dual time is very useful as travel a lot and need UTC and local time which can be displayed on the same screen.

Anyone else found the screen scuffs very easily? Not a pure scratch, just a smear effect which won't polish off.

Quite good availability!

Thanks OP and everyone who contributed. Was after something similar for my 5 and 7 tear old boys. Reserved two - hopefully not too big for their little wrists.

Will it be too big for my two boys? 7 and 8 years old.

If you don't mind the end of the strap slightly sticking out I think should be fine. The watch itself is smaller than I anticipated, so perfect for kids.

I'm glad you added some ages there. Thought I'd stumbled on to some weird CBT* stuff.

(Where T = Timekeeping. Hence weird! ).

Not quite sure what you mean?

Purchased similar one for £10 from argos last year. Was not expecting it too last long because it was for use in the swimming pool, sauna and steam. It is still working fine. Dont take it off and goes through extreme abuse.

CBT of the *ock and *all nature?

I got one and it looks much more plasticky than it does in the photo. £10 is its price.

Great watch, wearing one now
