Nice, I like this.
Just looked at this on YouTube. Seems they say it’s a woman’s watch.

No, it's not. It's a mid-size, unisex model. It's a half-way house between watches like the GA-100, which at 55mm are over-sized for many men, and the Baby G, which are a sensible size for most people but are firmly targeted at women.

This is still a pretty large watch but will suit anyone who likes the style of the GA-100 but wants something smaller than a house brick on their wrist.

On a related note, the whole genderification (made up word) of watches really irritates me. I know a number of women who prefer the style of some mens watches, and I've seen some womens watches that I'd be happy to wear if only I could fit a bigger strap. So far as I'm aware no watch movement comes with a set of genitalia (although you'd hope that such a movement would come with a display case-back).

Don’t get so upset. It’s just what the watch reviewers say on YouTube. I see no problem with targeting specific genders for items. It doesn’t mean you have to buy them. If we start and produce only things that would suit everyone, it will be a very sad day.

I'm not upset, and certainly not with you, it's just irritating. I like unusual, interesting, dials and it seems to be the case that many designers will happily take dial design chances with women's watches, but are much more reticent to do so with men's dials.

Manufacturers care about profit only. They cater for the masses. The lady who reviewed the watch is a G Shock fan and was adamant it was a ladies. I thought it was a mans. As you point out, it can be either. Personal preference.
