Thanks for sharing that! According to the Bank of England inflation calculator, 10 quid in 1988 corresponds to £27 in current money, so the price (on sale) has dropped by almost half. Why not buy two!?
Case is plastic not stainless steel. The strap is stainless though. Good looking watch, its just a shame Casio won’t produce it with a metal case for a little more money!

Yes I had this watch and the case started peeling which looked really odd
Time (excuse the pun) to have a dig around and find my original 80’s Casios

I still have a fully working casio like this one 45 yrs old
Used to love my Casio's, good old calculator, weather watch and anybody remember the phone dialler? Would go well with a pair of Dunlop's from the 80's.
Heat added BTW.

Time waits for no man
Yeah back then I bought item 12 in my photo above, thought it was pretty smart at the time, I'm sure I've still got it somewhere in the loft.

Really? I thought 45 years ago we would have had LED not LCD watches.

Blast from the past - I had 8, 20, and 22 from that page, over the years. Wish I still had them (not that I would wear them!)
Heat for the vintage Argos catalogue. Though I always preferred the Littlewoods tome

Must admit I also enjoyed looking at certain sections of my mum's Littlewoods catalogue
One of the favourite watches I’ve owned, cheap, reliable + classic design.
I've got this. I wanted a pure cheese watch. This is perfect
