10 year battery life + Casio +50 Metres WR. £9.95 Hot deal.

Quite a few cold votes already, so not everyone thinks the same.

Ten year battery life sells it for me.
Looks decent. Heat added
I bought one and the battery died after a year.. so I take it back I gather 😳
Just ordered the second one shown, I know it has a 10 year battery, which is great, but the only weakness in these watches is that the straps only last t over a year and they are the same cost to replaces the watch. but £10 for a watch once a year is still a decent buy!
Good deal, prefer the 2nd watch myself, this one keeps being reduced from it's STD price of £19.99, just want a watch to wear to work with a big easy to see face, 10yr battery is academic for me as the watch will be scratched to heck and replaced long before that.

Kinda highlights why the Hot / cold feature is meaningless now. People don't vote on the actual deal, they vote on names and bias of brand.

I just use the new tab now as so much is losing from stupid bias on brand names. Such a shame.

Can't you buy a leather strap? A one off payment and you'll be set for maximum more years.

same price at amazon
Great watch. Looks classy either dressed down in a t-shirt and jeans or dressed up in a tuxedo. Much more accurate than a Rolex because the digital movement is much more accurate than old fashioned cogs and pointers. I’m not 100% sure but this watch might also be an atomic watch which is super accurate and controlled by atoms.

This watch is unbreakable. Been abusing mine in the swimming pool, steam and sauna but it refuses to break.

Give it a while. Had decent waterproof watches in the past but seawater eventually kills them off.

Controlled by atoms???
Do you mean a "radio controlled watch" ? In which case, no it isn't a radio controlled watch. It's a normal quartz watch.
I have one of these bought a few years ago on another HUKD deal but only started using it about 9 months ago when my "decent" watch stopped working.
The time accuracy isn't wonderful - it's accurate to within about 30 secs a month. Prob not as good as a Rolex!!
It's also a pain to remember how to adjust the various functions. I Googled the model as I had lost the instructions and saved them as a PDF on my laptop.
I paid £19.99 a few years ago so £9.99 is a bargain.
Heat given.
Not needed or wanted. Bought anyway - Heat

I think you need to calibrate your sarcasm detector. Your 100% genuine Casio drifts about 30 seconds a month? I would guess it needs a new battery.
So which one do I go for. First or second one

The second one, I own both and never use the first one as the face is tiny.

Plus or minus 15 seconds a month is the standard accuracy of a quartz controlled watch/clock.
The accuracy of the latest Rolexes is plus or minus 60 seconds per month (apparently)
How often radio controlled watches/clocks update themselves doesn't appear to be common knowledge. I had one of the first and I understood then it was once every 24 hours. The UK signal used to be stronger. Now it is weaker, so probably a rcw won't update itself so often (depending on where you live)
Great watches, **** straps. They last me about 1 year then i throw it away or replace the strap!

Mine lasted 3 ;-) found it a nightmare to try and change the battery so just binned it sadly.

Heat added though as it's a great price.
Amazon have the black version for a fiver more ... hmmmm

Amazon also have the lighter coloured one @ £9.99 but they're calling it a woman's watch. After reading the reviews it appears to be the same (mens) - Googling the model No. seems to confirm this.

Some classics there. Last I saw 7dayshop was doing the Data Bank ones as well

Think I'll stick with my Apple Watch, I like that it sets itself and doesn't drift (I'd at least look for a Waveceptor type), but already have a F91-W for when I'm feeling a bit hipster

I've had mine for well over 10 years because I don't use the alarm or backlight. I find the straps are still great and I've been swimming in pools and in salt water when on holiday.
Got his watch. Was bought it as a present OVER ten years ago in Newquay. The damn thing is still in my drawer and working. Won't stop. Strap did break after 8 years though. Rubbish eh
I have this watch (top picture) great watch, it's all I need.

Have a friend with a Rolex and it’s rubbish at keeping time . Hilariously bad for a £4300 watch. Anyway was in Argos looking for replacement for hubby’s Timex iron man digital . Current iron man watches are huge horrible watches so ordered 2nd watch shown for 9.99 on Amazon . Note well if you searched for this watch on amazon as men’s Casio lcd it comes up as Amazon Best Buy at 15.99 or thereabouts . If you search for same watch with Casio Women’s LCD watch on Amazon it comes up at 9.99 and in stock . Arrived today and it is a mans watch 36mm wide and snug enough to wear under cuff link shirt. New Iron man watches certainly wouldn’t fit under shirt cuff with comfort.

Yeah definitely a man's watch then. Suspected as much when the model numbers matched.

I've paid the extra and gone for the black / grey version.

That could be, because its not a divers watch. I'll sell you a watch which is rated for a 1000M. Then you will have no issues, but it might cost you a bit more.
I got the same watch about 15 years ago when I was 8. I lost it about a year ago but it ran perfectly for at least 14 years (without needing a replacement battery). The strap held up too. It's very durable.

I used it for hiking, sports, swimming and exams. I wore it daily for the first few years too.
I had this watch, everything ok until you need to replace pieces, expensive straps and when you have to change the battery, always the water comes in. I tried in 2 different places with the same result. For that price, until the battery resist.
I have the second one. It’s great for an every day watch. I am biased because I love Casio!

It probably leaks because your not having it resealed. However since a battery and reseal can cost upwards of £30 whats the point, just buy a new one.
I've marked this as cold purely because this very same watch set me back 7-8 quid a few years ago. It's never been £20 (Well, it clearly has, but it's all lies!)
I bought it as I lost my Gshock and refused to spend over £100 on a watch for work, again.
It tells the time, lights up, is waterproof, lets you set another time if you are in a different timezone and has the world's quietest alarm on it (don't rely on it to wake you up for work).
Bought this watch around 10 years ago.. still going strong. Used to be my daily watch for at least 5 of those years and now I wear it when I'm doing anything where the watch might get wet or scuffed. The battery is still going strong with no change in the screen brightness, the strap is also just as good as it was when I bought it i.e. it hasn't hardened or cracked anywhere. Highly rate this simple watch for £10. Slim in profile too which is a bonus if you don't like chunky watches or have smaller wrists.
