Pretty ugly looking, I'm sure half the (primary) school kids had these back in the early '90s..

good solid retro watch perfect for roughing it and work etc, good price heat added

Perfect for running . Plus will make me feel young again like I'm back in the eighties . Sweaty imprint of strap on wrist , strap falling off etc.

Im wearing one of these right now.
Means 'when' I lose it I wont be upset and just buy a new one.

I'm sure I too had one of these in the late 80s when I was at school! :P Back then they were around £29.99 (how ripped off...) It was a good watch though and lasted me for years. Can anyone remember the databank watches too?

Heat.

Does anyone know if those one's are around that had the larger screen and a tiny green world map in the top right hand corner? You could go through the world time function and it would pinpoint the cities as you crossed the globe. Haven't seen one since I was at school and would love one of those.

My 17 year old son wears one and they seem a fashion statement. I wore mine in the late 70's and FOX5 your description is spot on. This watch is timeless like Adidas Samba trainers.

I have the Casio W-59-1VX which is £4.05 and In my opinion the "classic" Casio school watch.

Seems to be expired again. Missed it again ha.

Do they make any wave ceptor watches that look like this?

Got this last time, very cool looking, nice and retro and like said, for £5 if you damage or lose it you just buy another and don't feel gutted. Hot!

£7.80 now

I've just been looking around on google there are quite a few with the map on them but not the one i'm looking for which had a square frame. I'll take another look sometime as it would be a nice christmas present for myself.

I bought one last night for £7.80 inc del. I just hope I dont get nicked for wearing it after reading this article
