  • The piece is housed in a durable resin case and is framed by scratch resistant mineral glass. Suitable for sport and everyday styling
  • Countdown Timer: A stopwatch that counts backwards: When 0 minutes, 0 seconds is reached, the timer emits a 10-second signal tone
  • Durable and strong resin 23mm wide bracelet with buckle

Although the Argos write-up doesn't mention 'count down timer' it definitely has one as I have two of these watches (Referee).

This watch is plastic and has a known fault in that the date reverts to 01-01-05.
Great watch with atomic time keeping and readable display. Lots of casios with hands really aren't readable. If only it was solar!
Aren't all Casios in this price range plastic?
But a great bargain.
It does seem that the reversion problem is a problem!. Maybe caused by a low battery? The watch reverts to Japanese and can't find the Japanese transmitter. It seems setting it to uk may help.
On my 2nd one now. Watch straps were the only thing other than batteries that I had to replace. My old one eventually gave up when the pin housing to which the strap fits broke. Immediately bought another as I use these for work watches. Great find!
I can only comment on the two I have. One bought three years ago and one recently - no issues yet with either.
Great price for a Multiband 5 watch. Heat.
I have gone through five of these. 4 suffered from the reset fault and were replaced by the store the last one the case broke after just over a year. Just fell apart with no warning and wasn't suffering any kind of unusual use.

The fact that these have had a known fault since release that hasn't been fixed is very poor from a company like Casio. Oh, and the countdown alarm and stopwatch are both limited to one hour which is pretty poor, too. Avoid.
I have the metal strap version of this and it has been entirely trouble free.
This is a good buy so heat added.
I just like Amazon...

"scratch resistant mineral glass"
"Dial Window Material Type Acrylic"

Typical. So what is it actually?

ETA: "Acryl Glass" - that's what Casio say:…ef/
