Good little light weight watch that keeps its time very well, i use mine for work as it seems to take knocks quite well and most importantly keeps the time right

£8.99 hot deal

I have this, and it does the job well. Only problem is that it beeps when you press any button, and there's no way of turning this off!

I find that the straps on Casio watches only last about a year and that the replacements are just ridiculously expensive. So no real need for that ten year battery. I don't buy Casio watches any more. Sorry to be a wet blanket...

Yep had one for years, took all the knocks and the strap which Casios I had inthe past always split has been just fine

Great

Had this watch since Christams, paid £17.99 for it and was worth every penny. I use it mainly at the gym or when playing sports and it does the job perfectly. Pretty nice to look at too. DavidL the strap on this one is good quality and I don't think this one will be snapping any time soon.

i have this watch

i intend to keep it on my wrist until the day i retire in approx 6.5 years time, by which time the battery should have approx 2 years left on it.

great price, hot stuff!!

You can turn the beep off. Nice watch had mine 3 years and never missed a beat. Good cheap branded quality watch.

What's so smart about the power?

I've only used Casio watches for work purposes for decades because of their low cost and reliability. Apart from the straps that is, which so many posters seem to agree don't outlast the battery!! I bought this model several months ago and was stunned by it's accuracy. I set the time on the 9th August (ex-wifes bithday) and it has only gained 1 second since then. I suspect that this isn't common but impressive for a watch that only cost me £6.50 from Amazon.

how do you turn off the beep? manual has no mention of it

Press bottom left button (mode) until you get AL showing below the two small circular windows.
Press bottom right button to toggle the alarm off or on in the small circular windows.
Left window is the clock alarm the right is the hour alarm.

You can't turn the button beep off or extend the alarm signal.
