Good watch, good price, but be aware that the ones with the black rubber strap last approximately a year before they snap and need to be replaced. Casio specific proprietary strap and costs ££. The stainless steel strap version will last pretty much forever but is more expensive.

I have this watch as a spare for years and the battery lasts forever literally 10 years and counting, only problem is the screen scratches easily

**EDIT**
Just looking on camel and I have it set up as a price watch March 2015 at £20...time to buy it now

I have had this watch for nearly 10 years. I wear it to work every day. In that time I have only changed the battery and the strap once. The silver bezel fell off and is lost though.

I paid £20 for mine four or so years ago? This is the cheapest I've seen it for a long time. Heat.

It's a cracking watch and I use it as my second watch when reffing. Very few Casio watches out there with a countdown timer at this price and it's a waveceptor to boot.

Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Heat....

I'm after something similar with a thermometer ?? Any ideas as they all seem massivily over priced these days...

I don't know any wrist watch thermometers that give accurate results while worn - due to body heat. They need to be taken off and left for a while.

This is a great watch.
I bought the metal strap version earlier this year for £23.80 so it's worth keeping an eye open.
Super accurate obviously and I love the fact that it actually displays the date correctly (dd/mm/yyyy).

There's quite a few reviews saying a known chip problem causes it to reset to Jan 2005 often.

I'm pretty sure that the 2005 problem is caused by a low battery - at least it was for me though I've only seen it once. Changed battery for a new one, hasn't done it since.
