Those voted hot have probably never been to The Range. Cheap, poor quality …Those voted hot have probably never been to The Range. Cheap, poor quality Chinese MDF items when you actually inspect them close up.

You wouldn't go to The Range or B&M expecting solid oak furniture. What's wrong with MDF?

I didn't add the delivery charges, I'm not sure what's happened there, that seems expensive
Even with delivery that's relatively inexpensive, that said, all depends on quality of course. Heat from me.
Its says its alredy

It's bad for the environment, it can't be recycled, it falls to pieces because it can't hold screws properly, it's fragile and weak. Apart from that nothing.
Was looking for something like this with a bit of a cushion on top for the porch, came across these from Hartleys who have a few different lengths, wicker/foam cushions, look decent for around £50 and have some positive reviews;

You pays your money and takes your choice.

If you want environmentally-friendly, ethically-sourced and ethically-produced furniture that's made of solid hardwood, you'll be paying through the nose for it.

If, on the other hand, you can't afford solid wood, or simply don't have the same priorities, MDF furniture is perfectly fine.

We have one of these for storing shoes in (it doubles as a bench). Not identical to this, but t's MDF and it certainly hasn't fallen to pieces yet. It's not fragile, either. Had it for 3 years and it still looks virtually new.
Looked at this today, it's REALLY flimsy.
I bought two solid oak console tables from B&M today
I bought this from Lidl recently for £49.99:

Has been placed in hall way and seems good. Can hide shoes underneath it comfortably and isn’t too wide.

Bought this today, my local range had 2 out on the shelves not sure if they had more in the stock room. Was £45 not £50, it seems nice and sturdy, can take my 14stone sitting on it without issue

Speak for yourself about not being able to recycle...!! I re-use MDF items, from around the house when I've finished with them! Using them to make shelves etc in the attic... and the screws stay in just fine, done correctly.
