I managed to get one of these from Tesco in a flash sale a couple of years ago and have enjoyed many excellent meals from it. It has excellent airflow to keep the coals burning well and the cast iron grill gives you the best char grilled flavour over standard thin stainless steel. This is the cheapest cast iron BBQ I can currently find plus the seller has £6 off usual £24.99 price. Hopefully this deal gets hotter than the last £1 for a tin of breakfast deal I posted!

Nice. It's not very big but looks sturdy and should last a while. Perfect, I imagine, for a small terrace or balcony.

Heat for the BBQ. Heat for the all-day breakfast. Cheers for both OP!

Got exact same one from Aldi a couple of years ago , its holding up very well . After BBQ I always chuck a few logs on it and use as a chimnea through the evening .

I've been using one of these for 15 years, it's great!

looking for a firepit/decking heater type thing would this be suitable anyone who has one? how many logs etc can u get in it

Ordered, thanks op

Maybe a nice chiminea, but no good as a BBQ because it doesn't have a lid.

thanks op. looks good. similar one on amazon btw amazon.co.uk/gp/…s=1

This can join my potbelly cheers.

I've never used a bbq with a lid

I've had 2 of these over many years and are excellent bbqs and are very hard wearing!

Picked one up from aldi last year looks identical to this for £10, if it is the same I can recommended they are solid and can be left in garden uncovered with very little rust just poor handles not made for the weight.

Looks a decent size going by the image but it's only just over a foot high! Tiny.

I bought one of this, not worth a pound better pay more for decent cast iron because this is imitation!!getting rusty very quickly!!!

I usually put two bags of self lighting coal and it burns for a whole evening enough for bananas stuffed with chocolate late into the evening. The top of the rim is pretty wide so you can top up with coal or twigs but may struggle with bigger logs.

This would make a really warm seat in the winter with a few logs lit inside.

Thanks very much. Have just ordered from Ocado, however. Not to save 25p, but it is the Landmann make (on offer), which has a cast iron bowl, whereas I think this one is pressed steel? Maybe not, but that is the difference between the two on Amazon. Anyway, thanks for the heads up - been after a small bbq and prompted the purchase...did have to spend £40 to get delivered though, so got some tools as well :-)
