Castelli Ineos Grenadiers Climber's 3.1 Sleeve Cycling Jersey

The lightest jersey in every INEOS Grenadiers rider’s wardrobe. When the temperature is set to rise, the Climbers’ 3.1 Jersey plays a key role in keeping riders cool and at the sharp end of the race.

The Castelli INEOS Grenadiers Climber’s 3.1 Jersey is for all out performance. Castelli puts the jersey at its highest rating for race fit, breathability, and being lightweight, making it ideal for hard days out in hot and humid conditions. The Climber’s 3.1 features integrated number sleeves on the rear, making it identical to those issued to INEOS Grenadiers.

The front of the jersey and the shoulders are made from Flusso 3D fabric. The fabric weighs a remarkable 75g/m2 bringing the weight of the jersey down and making it incredibly breathable. With lightweight fabrics comes more exposure to the sun, so on the rear of the Climber’s Jersey Castelli has used StradaPro 3D fabric for more UV protection. This also provides extra support for the 3 rear pockets.

I love Castelli kit, but I won't be shilling for a big oil company that also sells huge unneccessary SUVs. Hell, they even have this image on a post about their cycling team. When I'm out cycling, having two big vehicles behind me isn't something that would make me smile.

Could be worse could get the team gb kit with those pretty shell logos on the sleeves!

As a sport cycling is pretty much terrible for carbon footprint. (edited)

Great post thank you. I appreciate cycling clothes are tight fit, but is a usual large, a large in this range or should i size up?

I’m a medium (40” chest) and all my Castelli are large. Yes I’m breathing in!

31 pounds still overpriced for a cycling jersey

    Trust me it's not.

By your comment, this type of technical top really isn't aimed at your segment of the market. Lidl may have what you are after.

    Great for FTKWs everywhere.

    Just don't.

Really hate this level of snobbery in cycling.

Nice find and good price, but personally I will never cycle in a pro team's jersey, following the rules: velominati.com/

Just read them all. Brilliant. Before the age of small pumps and CO2 inflators many broke rule #30. However, I was lucky enough to ride with Sean Yates who at time was with 7-11 and I converted to the rear triangle pump configuration after seeing it in action.

    Good Price

Expensive for a cycle jersey but cheap for a Castelli climbers top.

but I suspect the colour might be why.

Climbers jerseys are very light weight designed for doing climbs in heat.

Personally I've never needed a jersey like this in the uk, but when its been hot enough to warrant this type of jersey(tenneriffe) unless I was being paid to wear it id want one that wasn't black as thats going to make the heat worse.

Great price for a Castelli top. People commenting on there being no difference between Aldi and Castelli are entitled to their opinion but there definitely is.
