As a stills camera there are few equals at this price, specially with weather sealing. Maybe a Pentax K-70, but that's a heavy lump. For video, this one is also fabulous if you can work around the annoying 'pulsing' effect as the autofocus swings around trying to lock on. All recent Panasonic cameras do this because of their 'DFD' system. They must have gotten into a compatibility trap whereby if they put phase detection in their cameras their lenses will stop working or something. Anyway, it's good.
I paid about 550 for this from John Lewis in November last year with both the kit lens and 25mm f1.7. I'm not saying this isn't a good deal but food for thought. Might be worth waiting for prime day. Happy with the camera as my first "good" one.
So typical isn't it. Got mine from Argos in March for £599, luckily I haven't opened it, so have secured this one and will rtn Argos one when they finally open for rtns
Bloody hell I bought it with the 25mm lens recently for £470 the 12-60mm lens is what I would have preferred but it was £100 dearer Balls
