Impressively, the UK is the cheapest region.
Wish this included Castlevania 64 and symphony. Still a great price.

Sotn needs porting to switch asap, ive really enjoyed the 40hrs plus ive put into Bloodstained.
How do these hold up today? I’ve played one or two over the years but not a big fan of nostalgia for nostalgias sake

Did you play bloodstained on switch? It’s getting slated as a poor port of the game?

Symphony of the Night is included in the Castlevania Requiem collection, ableit not on Switch - so it was never going to be included here, unfortunatey.

Why C64? Heard it was rubbish. I wish it included Symphony of the Night and the ReBirth remake of the gameboy edition

No unfortunately not 😵
Is it just the original 8 bit and 16 bit style games in their original form, or have they been remastered or something?

They are faithful reproductions. There are added features like stretching and interlacing options (but I prefer them in their authentic form)
Bloodstain on PC is gorgeous.

I remember getting to 100% in SOTN then being shocked at what happened next!! A truly amazing game.

Yesssssss love castlevania.
Trying to understand the 30-ish games, and which ones are worth playing, is a bit of a nightmare.

However, it sounds like Harmony of Dissonance (GBA, 2002), Aria of Sorrow (GBA, 2003) and Dawn of Sorrow (DS, 2005) are all in a similar vein to SOTN...

I suddenly feel compelled to pull out my boxes of old Game Boy games from under the stairs...

Castlevania Bloodlines was released for the Megadrive in the UK as Castlevania: The New Generation.

Makes perfect sense.

Similarly, Rondo of Blood (PC Engine) was remade as Dracula X for the SNES, and The Dracula X Chronicles for PSP. The latter, Chronicles, includes an unlockable Symphony of the Night, and of course Rondo and Symphony make up the Requiem Collection

Not really the same scenario. Castlevania: Bloodlines/The New Generation isn't a remake of another game. It was an original Megadrive/Genesis Castlevania game en.wikipedia.org/wik…nes
Castlevania Bloodlines was the Jap/US name for the game. Castlevania: The New Generation was just the UK/EU/Au name for the same game.
Are people really mad about SOTN not being there when its a nintendo collection?
