Good spot, Mixi...

Heat out of sheer principle.
Just for info, two seasons of the anime are available on Netflix atm. ^_^
My partner loved it, me not so much.

I quite liked it tbh. Worth a try, at least!

Wish it came out physical...
Tried Rondo and got to stage 4. Those platformers really aren't my forte
Tempted by this price but I think I'll hold out for the next physical castlevania collection and hope they're on there!
Great games, old school (like me)
SOFT is one of the best games ever.

Be warned though this is not the PS version, that is the PSP port, and a lazy one that is.
Are these HD remaster (or with some sort of improvement) or just direct ports?

Ports, and not good ports - for some reason for SotN they've used the 2007 PSP re-release, which has different dialogue, voices and music, all of which have been changed for the worse (if you ask long term fans!), and it also has borders at the sides.

If you want the original version, you can buy it for the PS3 and Vita here. But of course that won't let you play it on the PS4.

If you want a remaster... well, you'll just have to pester Konami - and hope they don't screw it up like the PSP version!

Those are PSP ports. Lower graphic quality than you remember from the PS1 and worst audio. ( PS1 version used the CD to store audio )
Loved the game on the PlayStation. But according to the reviews this is a bad port. Shame
Dear Konami,

Hurry the hell up and release these on switch instead of that awful collection.

Kisses.
This re-master doesn't have the classic original voiceovers. It uses the PSP version's re-recorded voiceovers for some stupid reason. Beware nostalgia fans!

Agreed.
Had my hopes up when they only announced a fraction of the titles, thinking SOTN, Portrait and Ecclesia would be a dream combo for me.
Boy was I wrong.
worth buying in preparation for the upcoming bloodstrained (pre-ordered with steelpak) (same director same musician, same team)
Gotta love Rondo of Blood, actually bought a PC engine to play it years back. Stage 5 on the ghost ship is probably my favourite arcade stage
SoTN is one of the best games I ever played. Not a spoiler but just when you think you have 100% finished the game....
