Yes, the national deal is cheaper but if you need to top up periodically, it's still better than Halfords. Those who have a Makro card may also find it just as cheap there.

If your topping up oil constantly you got bigger concerns than how much it costs.

Not if its a BM-notorious for drinking oil - although mine has probably used 1.5l top up over 25k miles so quite low according to what Ive read on forums.

a lot of the new turbo cars can use up to 1 ltr per 1000 miles . Rarely see this but 1/2 ltr per 2000 is common so if your on longlife service then you will do 18k between services meaning you need 4.5 ltrs top up oil between services
