My Subaru requires C2 engine also. A LOT of research later, I came to the conclusion that nothing else would do. Typical for a lot of Jap cars, the higher SAPS should result in longer engine life, without damaging TWC/DPF. I believe a specific compromise between fuel economy / engine life / protecting emission systems.
got a barcode for it please?
an upload of the receipt would be nice
Barcode is "5 010321 000172" I'll upload the receipt at some point later.

Prefer the 0w-30 oil - Find you get more of a golden tan while sunbathing.

Crap!! Bought a 2ltr from Asda last night for £10! Own brand!
none in Bidston moss extra store
I haven't seen 4L oil in Tesco Extras for a while and only the 1L or 2L versions of Castrol so I suspect it is very limited stock and in few stores. Another duck chase?

For every BMW driver
Just order an oil called GM Dexos 2 off ebay if you can't find this- just got 20L for £57.99 delivered!

LL04 Spec, identical oil from the same source merely different packaging.
Not available at Fox&Goose Tesco Bham..If this saves someone a trip..

But not very likely - my employer has to pay me to drive there every day - surely no-one goes voluntarily?
From experience of working with a friend who owns his own garage business, if you are having to ask if this oil is suitable for your car, you probably shouldn't be contemplating buying it. Modern vehicles have such a huge variance in their specific oil requirements and you are likely to cause hidden or delayed damage to your vehicle through misuse of oil products. Either check it up online properly or get you car serviced by an insured and competent professional
