Good price for a handy size. Hot
Do you know if they have any 10W-40?
I need some 10W-40! too
5W40, FULLY synthetic will do here. But that is useless to me. Still hot though, good price
Good for cooking chips
Is this nationwide?
This was on offer @ half price for £6.50 a few months back

this is a hot one

I want 5/30 though

Sorry the only one I could see available at this price was 15W - 40

The price displayed was on a standard Tesco shelf label (ie not a Managers special type label) so hopefully will be Nationwide
ok for frying eggs, i suppose
Fine for old engines (10 year old) and the likes, don't go putting this in your 3year old bmw! good price!
For those needing different viscosities Asda have own brand semi-synth at £10 for five litres, which seems a good price. Fully synth is £16. Not sure how good the oil is but I change mine every 6k anyway, so cheap stuff suits me.
just went tesco In loughborough, none there
Not changed my oil in probably 5 years - still runs ok.
Will this be ok for a pitbike?
none in tesco horsham store or garage...great deal if you can bag it!
H4mza you should use 10w40 semi-synthetic motorcycle oil, your engine will rev a lot higher than a car and the additives in a motorcycle oil make a good difference
Got this last week in Tesco Coleraine and it was the last one on the shelf. Havn't checked lately to see if restocked. Will check when next in.
Castrol GTX? Part Synthetic? Really?

LOL

I stopped at the side of the road once to help someone who's broken down. The car was knackered but I said I'd take a look. When I checked the oil it was almost spilling out the dipstick. She told me she'd never had the oil changed because she "didn't want to get ripped off my a mechanic", but just added a litre every six months...

...D'oh!

My focus takes 5w-30?
About 4 left on the shelf in Sunny Hunny after I took one.
Same thing instore was 12.99.But at least the batteries were cheap;)
Oh man, the 0W/30 is never ever on offer. I bought a 1 litre bottle from Tesco a few weeks ago (Castrol Edge) and the guy at the till goes "Why is this so expensive?". I said, "What?? You guys priced it".

This is a good deal though.
Nth

It's good stuff, specced for the car but perhaps a bit OTT for the UK temperate. 5W/30 is just as good and probably more economical.
Managed to get 2 bottles, this any good for a saxo 1.1 8v engine? 2002 plate

I've just been to Tescos Home Extra in Bracknell and both 10W-40 and 15W-40 were £3.00
