Operated by your cat’s unique implanted identification microchip, the cat flap eliminates the stress and frustration caused by the unwelcome intrusion of neighbouring cats, providing a safe and secure environment for your cat.

Credit to somersetpaul for his recent post at £49.00 as it inspired me to go searching.

Excellent price for a great product-this cost £80 a couple of years ago.

Can this eliminate stress and frustration and unwelcome intrusion of my own cat. Would I be allowed to fit this to my children? How big are the microchips? Could I slip one into my wife? And fit this mechanism to the front door to keep her out.

Wow I thought my deal was hot! Thanks for posting!

Pity you can only program up to 30 cats!

Excellent bit of kit.......

Nice one! Ordered!

It sounds like you'd rather not slip one in to your wife.

Great deal. I just hope the hole in my double glazed unit is the right size for the adaptor.

I reckon you could slip one into your wife, I did last night and barely touched the sides.

All about the size mate, pitty you drew the short skinny straw.

Great price for this - I paid nealry 100 quid for the slightly bigger one so my dogs could use it. Trouble is the damn things won't hold their heads under the scanner for long enough for it to register (cats must be more sedate than cats) and 4 will try to get through together which totally confuses the scanner. In the end I just turned it off!

It's about the size of the cathedral, not the organ!

Just what I needed, considered one for about £100....thanks

I have a got a different branded chip cat flap and it cost about 60 quid or more. Absolute godsend. Works perfectly and took my cat 5 minutes to get used to it. No more unwanted cats...

Which means I've now got a more comfortable, receptive and content pussy!

You need to book an appointment at the clinic in about 10 days time in that case.

I did feel the burn, but it wasn't wholly unpleasant until the discharge.

Good god you really have met my wife. I hope you find it easier to loose her than I did!

Did not expect to find "your wife" banter here...

I ordered on Sunday and haven't heard a thing so not sure if they have insufficient stock to fulfil my order or if they are just slow. Has anyone used them before? How quickly do they usually dispatch?

The website still showing OOS so it does concern me that they won't fulfill the orders. Their email said more stock expected end of this week/early next week. No further contact from them though.

I rang up today as I had heard nothing (not even an order acknowledgement, even though the order had been charged to the credit card). They said that they didn't have a promise date on new stock. They also can't split orders, which is a problem as I also ordered some cat food from them and we'll run out tomorrow. So I had to cancel the cat flap order to get the other stuff in time.

My email response from them this morning says they have ordered more stock from the supplier and they will be in within the next week. We will see!! We did have an email order confirmation though.

Finally we cancelled our order as still getting fobbed off with "we hope to receive stock by the end of next week". That was over a week ago. Have now ordered a sure flap microchip catflap and adaptor from petsupermarket.com. currently offering 10% off plus extra 15% with code FIRST15 until the end of today. 6% TCB. Total £60.87 delivered and has arrived within 48 hours!

Back in stock, finally!! I hope they won't cancel my order....

Did anyone get one are they worth the money?

I bought one for my rather large Russian Blue and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It has given him the complete freedom to do whatever he wants without me having to act as his butler and it prevents his mates venturing into our house.
It is relatively easy to install as long as you do not follow the instructions that come with the box but draw the shape of the cat-flap on to a piece of cardboard and then use that to cut a right-sized hole into the door.

The best £44 I have spent for a long time.

We got one when they eventually came back in stock, agree with the comment above, really pleased with it. The door is much quieter than the previous cheapy magnet one we had before (which never closed properly and let a gale in).

The only thing is that our cat is pretty small, so her neck is sometimes a weeny bit too low fot it to pick up her microchip when she has her head down to push it open with her nose, so it sometimes takes her half a minute to get in.
