Old tech, gps ones start from £16 HERE better display and no need to attach a senser on the Fork/wheel.

Also no battery to buy although will need frequent charging. That is actually a very good price on aliexpress as many sellers are charging a lot more for the same product. Maybe that seller is actually the manufacturer.

If you set the tyre size accurately a normal non GPS cycle computer is more accurate with regard speed and distance, GPS is more approximate. However personally I'd rather have a GPS cycle computer that I can move easily from bike to bike and not have to worry about replacing batteries.

I'm sure it will be great quality but I'm personally not keen on wireless transmitters as its an extra battery to buy and sometimes there are communication issues. I would definitely look around to see what else £20 will buy you but accept this is very low profile and low weight ideal for road bikes where you just want a simple and minimal bike computer.

Wired connection Cateye Velo 7 for £14:39 - very similar but without the wireless connection issue.

It's a good bit of kit, which gives you mileage completed, your current speed etc so if you have an interest in knowing that information it's useful. It's not meant to be GPs that's another level altogether (and a wholly different price range). I've changed the battery once in two years and I cycle 10 miles every day Mon-Sun, so I think this is good value.

I know it's 50% more but for £30 you can get a cycle GPS on Amazon.

Mad that I was using these 25 years ago and they can still sell them …

Think Eveready bike light with D size batteries and you’re in the same era
