Code doesn't appear to work for sale items.

hmmm ive seen better prices for this stuff in the past cold

Everything I liked was out of stock! Also the reductions weren't that great. A shame, as their summer sale was so much better.

Love Cath Kidston bags, they are so pretty. Thanks OP.

if anyone is after mugs, there are from £2 each on John Lewis website

Cath Kidston still going? Expect this overpriced tat to disappear once all the mugs have been mugged.

Seriously people, it's OK stuff if you're hooked on 'pretty' and 'on trend' (hate that expression) but it's VASTLY overpriced, even when discounted. has no place on a deals site!

If it was genuine artisan made in the UK it would still be expensive but maybe understandable, but £60 for a plastic handbag made in China - give me a break!

I posted this because I thought it would be of interest to some members on here.
If there was an item they were thinking of buying and it's reduced then hopefully it helps.

Just because you don't like a product yourself it does not mean it "has no place on a deals site."
Some people like to spend their money on handbags, some on gaming, some on bikes...
Personally I would not spend my money on any of those things, the key word being "personally" - the site is not here just for what a few people buy but for all members.
If it was just about the cheapest possible way to live there would only need to be value groceries posted, and very little else.

I apologise if I have disappointed you by not resorting to "girlie abuse", but I am neither girlie nor abusive.

Remarkably constrained response to my goading rant - well done!

I have no problem with anyone posting nor buying this stuff but please just acknowledge that it is vastly overpriced tat. If you like expensive tat (as do my wife and daughter) that's fine. I'm afraid that, for me, this is in Ugg boot territory!

wow. Never seen a product range that will totally recycle before. No wonder we're short of oil!

thanks op

I'm not sure why you want me to agree with your opinion and call all Cath Kidston "overpriced tat".
Does your opinion or mine matter to someone who is a fan of the brand?

Yes, I think the brand is overpriced, but when they have a sale on it becomes much more reasonable.

No, I don't think it's "tat".
I have one Cath Kidston bag that I bought for £8 in the 70% off sale they did last year. It is really well made, strong handles, waterproof, wipe clean - I use it as a baby changing bag and it still looks like new after more than a year of everyday use.

Shall we just agree to disagree?

Crap and rip off. Bags are now £58 but we're cheaper before.
It's just a commercial tack tic

Jeez, people are full of the joys on here. If you don't like them why comment? Just vote cold and move on.

Overpriced!!

Loads more added to the sale, now up to 70% off.
Worth another look, especially for the bag reductions.
