works out the same as block bogof deals recently posted but I bought some as its already grated and its less to finish once open (than the 400g blocks)

Mature yet mellow cheddar in made to a special traditional recipe in the West Country.
Grated for your convenience, it is the perfect ingredient for any meal or recipe, ideal for jacket potatoes, pizza and pasta.

Me like. Thanks

bah .. bought some in netto yesterday for £1.49

Yes, saw this today, quite a few deals in Morrisons today.

Has anyone noticed that the blocks of cheese are getting smaller.

Normally they should be (IMO) 400g, but then various brands have been changing their weights 390g, 380g and 370g. But today was the worst, I saw a block of cheese weighing 350g! (think it was Cathedral City)

So take note!!

The cheese itself is good enough as a supermarket mainstay, but no heat from me as I cannot see the point in paying someone to grate my cheese, I use this site to save money not waste it.

It also goes stale faster than a block so again another possible waste of money.

Bag is sealable so won't go stale??

Verbal Kint

Did you read the OP? you arent paying them to grate it, you are saving money by buying it

Bought some of this the other day from Morrisons. Great cheese to use under the grill for a ham and cheese sandwich

smells like feet but the wife likes it oO

This is horrible. I, too, was seduced by the 'only £1!' pricetag only to be terribly disappointed by their idea of 'grated'. It looks like they pushed the stuff through a Play-Doh spaghetti machine; far too thick to be called grated cheese.

Needs to be used quickly but same applies to any grated cheese

Prefer the Tesco Colliers deal, much tastier cheese

I got this as it seemed a nice idea to have the resealable bag. However, the cheese is really chunky, not really grated, so doesnt really melt very nicely, we tried it last night on chilli. Good deal, not such a great product!

I got some on monday but im sure the offer is for the Light version only!

i wonder what this will taste like grilled ontop of thick buttery grannery bread.
