Is this Asda or Tesco??

this stuff is always on offer somewhere

Great price. works out at £4.29/kg

Even when the packs were 400g the BOGOF offer came in at £5.00/kg

Time to stock up for Christmas.

The aim of tis site is to point people towads the bargains. Voted Hot.

Is this the mature but mellow one?. Does that mean they've taken out half the fat and half the taste?

I was thinking of the 'lighter' one which was on offer before. Not sure that 'yet mellow' is the best marketing phrase.Implies (to me) Mature but not quite as flavoursome as it could be. Never tried it. Is it any good?

Is chedder chese similar to Cheddar Cheese?

Thanks. Just got 2 packs from Rushden.

Just picked up a pack with my shopping. Said on the label reduced from £7 which somehow I can't believe!

Thanks!

I agree with John McG - the cheese is always on offer. We might as well start posting kitchen deals and DFS deals!

It is not. We have resolved ourselves to only using this cheese, it melts beautifully, because we were tired of buying other cheeses on offer and being disappointed with them.
Nothing against the other cheeses, just our taste. Although I will go on record as saying 'Seriously strong' was the worst of the lot of 'em.

So if this is the only cheese you are willing to stock up on you soon find it is not always on a good offer. Some shops may have it reduced in price but usually to nowhere near the £5-6 a kilo I am willing to pay.

This is a good offer, thank you OP

Bags get bigger and bigger, cheese gets smaller by the week

The cheese is not always on offer. Cheese is usually on offer somewhere.

It is good to know where the offers are. Good post.

Had a quick search earlier. Tesco had a similar offer a few months ago.

Apart from that one, this is the best offer I've seen. Even 2 or 3 years ago it was 2 x 400g packs for £3.99

£2 each and no multibuy at my asda?
