These are awesome. Although I'm not vegetarian I stopped buying meat sausages and just buy these now. Good deal, thanks OP.

Cumberland sausage contains Pork, this does not
Short shelf life, but you can just freeze them for a later date
I love these! Heat added for find, but alas no Heron Foods around my area 😞
My local Heron is in quite a bohemian (ie hippy) area, most of the time with ANY vegan/veggie deal there is just a pile of empty boxes on the shelves....just like this offer (cry face)

Actually the name Cumberland derives from the origin of the sausage.
I went Vegi recently and gave these a go. Pretty impressed. Comes pretty close and without negativity so easily worth the slight drop in taste.

There is not too much meat in British sausages anyway... so you don't miss a lot

Cumberland, Cumberland style. Who cares. More ethical and tastes just as good.

Why is it more ethical 'Tastes just as good'

I tried british sausages from different butchers but I am not big fan of them. But that comment remind me this

I shall have to forward this to someone. I was at a German industrial company open day, with someone raised in Germany. At lunch the conversation was much like that sketch so she was claiming the amazing saasages served must have been German. I asked a waiter, they were from that bestbutchers in Milton Keynes. Regardless, going to have to refer to them then as "offal tubes" from now on
‘Bags o’mystery’ was Victorian slang for sausages, so I think that clarifies matters
Oooooh now we see the real vegan message peeking from behind the Cumberland sausages

They're awesome fried slowly for a while to firm them up well then split down the middle to be made into a sausage sandwich

I had these with a recipe I found on Google. Made tomato sauce (not ketchup) using chopped tomatoes, white whine, garlic, onions, and cubed potatoes and it was so good I went back for seconds and made the dish again the next day! I’m not even veggie but damn was I impressed with these...in this dish anyway.
