Cauldron stuff is really good. I bet it'll all be gone.

There's a new brand called Squeaky Beanz that also do good meat substitute snacks and chiller meals, although I've only seen it in Sainsburys.

Really annoying that Waitrose have suspended their vegetarian bacon products - by far the best I've had.
I’ve gone off Cauldron products - just find their blocks too watery and break when pressed a little (plus the packaging)

Become a Tofoo convert - all ready to go in a few seconds - with good firmness. Seems to fry better and crisp up easily too.

I agree Tofoo has better consistency but quite a bit more expensive. We’ve found that if you press the Cauldron stuff slowly with a chopping board and some weight on top, it doesn’t mess up the texture. Heating on ultra high heat from room temp makes it super crispy and nice

I'd like to see some evidence for that, but don't bother looking - it doesn't exist.

Flatulence contains methane, a greenhouse gas, which contributes to climate change, not depletion of the ozone layer, which is caused by chlorine and bromine.

Funnily enough, the number 1 contribution to climate change is eating meat, especially cattle, which produce tremendous amounts of methabe.
