I saw this and was tempted, anyone know if it's any good?
I just purchased lidls equivalent which is also 12% . Got to say, not even close to an original baileys.
Best one was always the 'Specially Selected' ALDI one that cost a couple of quid more - was far BETTER than Original Baileys. Their own brand cheaper version and Lidl's version were OK but not great - more watery than the original.

the packaging on this ASDA one looks alot like the cheaper ALDI one:

Asda's bottle of plonk contains the one of the least amount of alcohol among the ones that we tested with only 12 per cent.

Although it was the second cheapest drink we tested, it was rated fairly middle of the road.

This one is definitely creamy but you can hardly taste the alcohol. Our taster Natasha described it as "watery" and reckons you can "definitely tell it's cheaper."
This is rank, try the expensive (relatively) one in aldi. Or asda got real balies for £10 a litre. These cheap ones tend to be vile.
put Irish whiskey into it.........it will brighten it up
Only good for splashing on your Frosties on a cold morning!
Sainsbury's do an own brand version that is 17% (like Baileys). It's more pricey than this but its a very good copy of Baileys.
Sainsburys is thin and runny (was the last two years anyway) - felt very, very cheap compared to Baileys.
I get nthis just for my coffee, fake baileys taste nice in a strong coffee, but always around this price
Got to be honest had a few bottles in the summer with ice and didn't miss not having Baileys at all.

the very best stuff is homemade but goes off quickly as you might expect..way better than baileys though.

The cheap one from Lidl is better than the cheap one from Aldi

They do a cheaper one that is about 13%, but the one that is 17% is a really good copy. I wouldn't bother with the cheaper one either.

Ah - OK, I never looked, the Mrs does the weekly shop and I rarely go in Sainsburys. I guess she must have bought the cheap one.
I like the one from Lidl, but this is not a deal they are always this price.
The really cheap Bailey's derivatives like this are not made with whiskey, which is why they are so cheap.
Go for the 'specially selected' derivatives which are around twice the price and much closer to Bailey's.
Tastes good, but a bit watered down. Nice as Irish Coffee
