Only thing you cannot do is register My Nintendo points to a non-US Nintendo Account, but that's hardly a deal-breaker.
Do you know if the box is the same size/format? I remember the American DS boxes being skinnier. And black!
All Nintendo Switch boxes are identical, apart from the age rating images, which vary by region, and languages that feature on the back side - but this one will obviously be in English.
As yet it doesn't even have a UK eShop release date. And to be honest, I don't see the eShop price being any cheaper than £22. Plus, you're getting the special edition initial release version here, which may not come to the UK [the special edition of Binding of Isaac isn't, for example].
EDIT: IT appears the special edition is coming in some shape or from: twitter.com/nic…160
You SHOULD be paying import fees for this. I do remember ordering something from Amazon.com before and it actually came via Amazon Germany before coming to the UK. Maybe they send it to a European warehouse first and then ship it to any other EU state from there and so we would not be charged any customs. Just a thought...
If you look at the reviews, they show that it comes with the CD/booklet. All release day versions on sale as of now come with these - and versions bought in GameStop.com come with an additional keyring and bag.
Yeah, they used to add on the import fee deposit before, but i noticed that's been coming up as $0.00 for the deposit and only charging for the shipping recently, even on some more expensive items that should definitely be over the threshold for import fees, like the sonic mania collector's edition for the switch. Just hoping there isn't a surprise charge from the delivery company when it arrives.
Apparently they're adding co-op later on, which would be a more than welcome addition
I agree £20-30 for this game - however essential it is, and it is - at this stage seems semi-scandalous. Having said all that, the guy behind said game rewards making some good money off it, it's for me arguably the best Indie game to date, ok, joint with Undertale.
Doesn't warrant a physical release however. Bloody hoarders.
you get the prime discount as you checkout
You do get My Nintendo points on American purchases. I bought Bomberman from Amazon US and was able to claim 14 gold points
I know it's still expensive but it's only £32 for the PAL version (£30 with prime).

There was a thread started last week on here with a code for 10% off so it was actually £26.99 from 365games
Edit: GAME10 is the discount code
Interesting, because when I try to redeem points from US games on my UK Nintendo account it gives an error message.
Amazon take a deposit to cover any potential import charges - you shouldn't end up paying any extra.
They didnt take any on my order? I used amazon currency converter
