Looks good.Been tempted in the past for our front area but been put off by the price.£7.50 /square metre seems reasonable if it's a good quality.

Buy some golf clubs and you can go for a hole in one with some boiled eggs.

youll have to pick it up and rinse it down with some detergent. We have had some fake grass for a few years....excellent if its only a small grass area.fenced a area of our patio off and put this down for kids to play on....luckily no cats go in our garden due to dog.

Oi, sneaky edit there making me look even more stupid

Would this sit on top of decking and be screwable into it? Decking nice but too slippy after rain.
How would this stuff compare to that sold in b&q for instance?

Thanks Denbi. We have a dog but the local moggies are far too smart and just enjoy tormenting our dog

I do like the idea of relatively effort free grass tho...and if you have had it for a few years it must be durable enough.

I bought mine from good as grass seven years ago. Very pleased with it, dont forget to factor in sand etc...

How do you install this stuff, on top of soil for instance?

This site is crazy, i watch video on how to lay it, even got me to consider buying artifical grass. unbeliveable

looks good but bare in mind that 1 metre strips may take a lot of strips to do a larger garden.

I did our garden in artificial turf a couple of years ago and it has to be one of the best decisions i ever made, was a lot of work to prepare the ground and get the surface level, but worth the backache when you see the result.

best tip ...dont be tempted to try and get away with not preparing the substrate properly as within a couple of seasons it will be lumpy and have weeds growing through.

Just think lush weed free green grass all year round, no mud no lawn mowers oh and it dries super fast after a downpour

:O cats will love this as much as a scratch post!

thanx just ordered ten to do in summer any guidance anyone how to lay correctly ,just noticed the utube above will try that thanks this will be a lot more expensive come the sunshine .hot hot hot!!!!!!

Cool as! Ordered!(_;)

Cold, you can get the stuff greengrocers use for loads less than this.

Can you cut it ?
I am thinking of buying a couple of rolls to go in the goalmouth for my kids to play footy in the garden.
Real grass after heavy use soon wears out and turns to mud when wet

Are static shocks a problem? Will I need to earth my lawn?

Your garden will look lovely in that.

Anyone know which version it is from the CC Grass website? Also if you buy multiple items (ie 6) would it be a 6 x 4M roll or 6 separate sections?

Been wanting to do part of our lawn for a while as its just waterlogged and ruined by two loverly dogs

Ooh that is a lot of work.

Our neighbour has this. it does look good but nothing like real grass even from a distance. its hard work and very time consuming to install. To get a firm to do it for you properly it costs a load of money.

If you have no time to maintain your garden and have the money to pay someone to do it properly it is a good option.

Just been to the local HB (Saddle Junction Wigan) they have a fixture end full of this. Has 2 types of green blades and 1 type of thatch but the effect to me isn't that good.

Sorry but it did not have any labeling as to which type of grass this was from the cc range. It did have a pic but forget what it was oO but I have a hunch it was of a garden so maybe the landscaping one. Maybe a reason for the fake thatch actually.

Are stuff has been fine although it wasnt made by these people and we looked at quite a few samples...some look **** and some do actually look real. We also had a big roll and cut to the right shape, so no seams . Laid a sand base first but had to take it up due to building, this time i just laid it on to the patio and its fine..

We had a 13m * 2m strip professionally installed as a "utility lawn" to the side of a path - bikes, playhouse, junk go on it.

I love it, it looks good, dries quickly, mud free etc.

One of the best buys we ever made.

Where can you buy the jointing strips ? They are not listed on Home Bargains

Love this only got a small garden so put it down myself. Got a large dog but clean it with bleach and water. Leveling the ground was the hard part. I shopped round for ages before buying and home bargains is the best value and it looks good.
