It has nno room to improve as things move on....it is a dead end, end of life product, for the same price as when it was relevant. it is for those who dont know anything.
They're charging £278 for £225 of parts?

I wouldn't even fancy running an APU on this at stock without some decent airflow over the VRMs. The absolute worst, bargain bin MOSFETs around, only two phases and no heatsink whatsoever, paired with an APU where the SoC VRM is a lot more important than with the CPU-only Ryzen parts. No thanks.

Not to mention that it's not even cheap.

3400G - £120 at Amazon
B450M Mortar Max - £87 at CCL
16GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro - £72 at Amazon

So for the same price you can have the same CPU, the best B450 motherboard around (which could even handle a 3950X as an upgrade in future) and much faster memory (very important for an APU) complete with disco lights. This is a horrible deal.

Cool, nice warranty on the system.

Again proving my point this is for a very budget system for non power users who just want a rig to play fortnight etc on..thanks again for the reassurance though bud

No, HUKD keeps changing it, its £264 without topcashback, £251, it comes all prebuilt and a 3 year warranty sounds decent to me.

"Prebuilt"? It's three components. You're literally paying them to drop the CPU into the socket and put the RAM in the slots. An actual monkey could do that. They're not putting together a complete system for you or something. They're not "building" anything really. They're just taking things out of the packaging for you. If you want to massively compromise on component quality and get gouged in the process so that you don't have to open a box yourself, I really don't know what to say other than good luck.

Since when is 'budget' dearer than top teir? Are you a shill? This is just ccl trying to con people with old stock...but thanks for admitting you have low expectations and dont mind being ripped off with overpriced, outdated stock....very brave of you.

Yeah, then they deny the warranty because 'you must not hav3 fitted the cooler properly' or 'YOU must have damaged it fitting it in the case'...or my favourite 'can you show where you paid even more f9r a professional to fit it'.....garbage system.
I do not know what memory they are trying to push (maybe 2133 or 2400Mhz), but that motherboard has got to be the worst AM4 motherboard ever released.

COLD!!!!!!!!!
Some bundles are good value .
The 3600 one the other week was good.
But you can buy a 2600, good b450 and some decent memory for less. Probably about £30 less.
I understand the put together bit cos it was a pain installing the stock cooler but once you've done it you realise how easy it should have been😃
Not worth the premium this one imo. All parts are guaranteed any how
This is about £50 too much.
It's £264.10 when you add to the basket. The 5% off us applied at checkout. It's not a bad set up for a 3400g, anything higher in a cpu then you're best going b450.

Yes HUKD woudnt allow me 5% topcashback too
Who is voting hot on these deals? I'm almost sure it's not regular HUKD users. Maybe CCL employees/associates/friends?

I'm pretty sure this was massively voted cold, but somehow, it's still positive number.

You must be related to the OP. This is a horrific deal. Not sure why anyone wants the board or the ram. The CPU is ok-ish. But honestly b450 board is better. I mean if someone wants budget onboard graphics then they really should be looking at bottom end of intel with heir budget chipset with onboard graphics not AMD
