Please look on the right hand side. They have price matched it. Its due to get more stock on 1st August but you can order now.

Would definitely go with Amazon because of their superior customer service. a

Ah didn't spot that. Flubit for an even better price as well.

Amazon were selling these for £147 two weeks ago with free delivery. So, while this is a good deal, it's not uncommon to see lower prices.

Put one of these in my (2011) Macbook Pro and it has transformed it. It now boots in 17 seconds. It also reads/writes 10 times faster than previously. I paid £144 so not much difference. If I'd known just how much difference it would make I'd have bought one when they were twice the price.

now boots in 17 seconds

I'm sure you can still knock a few more seconds of that - check your LaunchAgents and LaunchDaemon folders for unnecessary items. I have a MX100 in my 2011 MBP and it boots to desktop in 14 seconds. Annoyingly it boots into the Windows 7 partition even quicker!

No, I swapped the existing HDD (into an external USB enclosure for cloning). So optical drive still in place.
