Good price.

Not a bad price but the Brix Celeron 1037u that was on here earlier today (now sold out) was a better CPU for only £5 more.... but as we don't (generally) own a TARDIS then I guess this deserves heat for what is probably the cheapest price for this item.

But this is 4.3W TDP! It's a different product category. If you are looking for low power then this is the best choice. It's even lower that the Bay Trail NUC (7.5W TDP) but I'd have to say I'd probably go for the nuc for the better balance of processing power to power usage. But it depends on what you want to use it for.

Can this cope with 1080p smoothly? thanks

Agree, it is a different beast but stuck inside a virtually identical Brix unit so it's really confusing for buyers as all these celeron names aren't clear what's what without looking closely at the specs. It used to be easier, Atom, Celeron, Pentium, ix series but now intel cloud the issue with making Atom CPU's and calling them Celeron

Last reviews I read on a Brix device mentioned some overheating issues. Have they been fixed ?

It's fanless too!
