How much it cost as a laptop?

Depending on how big your lap is, you could probably just pop the box on it and a screen and keyboard on top.

I have been following your deals for a while but still haven’t pulled the trigger but this could be the one £600 budget should hopefully leave enough for a decent graphics card.

Dont forget 1% Quidco.

In the description it says

Awesome 6 core Ryzen Processor with and AMD Radeon RX 580 Graphics card!

Customised CCL Stryker Gaming PC

Must be a mistake.

ignore the descriton, Going into the build via the main website enabled the GPU selection and the RX580 is the lowest option.. via this link the GPU selection is disabled, = more freedom to add any type of GPU from CCL or anywhere. best value.... be quick before the loop closes though!

A deal you posted recently identical to this one but Ryzen 5 with XFX RX580 for £535 wasn’t voted as a hot deal. But this deal has the Ryzen 7 and if you buy the XFX RX580 on a deal for £130 then you have the Ryzen R7 rig for just £9 more at £544 well within my £600 budget. I could possibly sell the free games? Bringing it down to £500???

shortly after the RX580..... the CPU of the 2700 crashed a little but even so u could just top up that RX580 build with the 2700 its all the same....... the funny thing at the time it didnt get voted hot but it were £22 cheaper then the RX590.... which is right for an RX580 and helps folks closure to the 500 budget then the 600... and if i went with 2600 then X it was a little cheaper but the other got voted hot than cold, same again for a 2700 with an RX590 didnt go as hot even though 2700 dropped near 2600x levels.. and now this is only 169 hotness but has been voted on alot and getting half votes.. but its the same deal as a 2700 / 2600 with the RX590 which went extreme hot... not all my deals are the same "styker, but in the styker ive given afew examples as its quite a big one to play with... ....

shocking how folks dont understand "customizers" lol" and that folks dont no a good deal untill it slaps them in the face lol.

this with out the GPU is the best one yet out of them all... u can even do a nice sweet 3600x if u plan right!.

cough.... 5700xt @ 312!! ebay codes 5700 @ £250 ebay codes..

Your QS about the games, u need to vert your system for the codes but after that its possible.

Compariable to the other best Ryzen 3600X package "ronin".. you could upgrade the 2700 to the 3600x for £49?
#remember to add your fans?..... # source a GPU via the ebay codes... not the current rubbish one, a nice 15%/20% will throw up some nice GPUs again.. should be back within next week or so.. pop the GPU in your self. very easy and uve got your self a 3600x build alot cheaper then anything out there.... i.e main pc with 3 year warranty & GPU's @ self build price promo offers.

3000mhz ram is perfectly fine.. seriously..... 3600mhz is OVERKILL for the price. yes it improves somewhat performance so does 3200..... but does it make it worthy over the 3000mhz not in the slightest, cost to performance the 3600mhz is not worth for the typical user. same applys to X570 boards...

Why is it better to get a Ryzen 5 3600x over a Ryzen 7 2700 for £49 and no free game

For longevity i would go for the 2700x (£28 more) if you use the machine for work-that should last you another 7 years (?) but then if you update the MOBO to MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX (£15 more) then you can put in a 3900x CPU when they drop in price in 3/4 years to take the longevity of the PC even further.
I was tempted by this last night but i want 32GB and they only do 4x 8GB which is not the best for Ryzen- 2x 16GB is what you want. Plus with a 20% off code on ebay i can get the cpu/mobo/ram bundle i want for less and plonk it in a new desktop case and use my current PSU and SSDs.

I would got for the 2700x (£28 more) as 8c/16t is the future and these 6c/12t CPUs (3600/3600x) will run out of steam sooner than later. Plus you get your free games

its a CPU more aim for Gaming then the "other" "lets ignore the "free game" ... and im going counter react my previous statements GPU over CPU. for months ive said get a 2600x rather then a 3600x actuly the 3600 before the price drops had happened.. if the £50 can be used to get a better GPU.... and ill stand by that today still.. same apply s for the 2700 cos of its nice price just above the 2600x..... and i say that cos £50 in GPU money can move u up a very good level on gpu's.... very close price gpus these days with a good selection... however when u hit the 5700xt the price gaps open up very wide... this is where it would be more suitable... to then add a 3600x into the mix.. (my pref)...

The main use for the PC is to store photos (jpeg & RAW) and to edit in photoshop. There will be 4 users each with a profile and will run some games and Microsift Office. I want it to run for 5+ years before upgrading/ replacing. What's my best option to change on this system?

keep as it is.. but for £28 then the 2700x..... as the cores will do u more wonders then the likes of the 3600x for yourself... fine as it is, but u ull get that bit extra at stock going on a 2700x.. unless u o.c laters.

It depends which benchmarks you believe, so the following shows the 3600, with it's higher IPC significantly better than the 2700X in a photoshop test...

pugetsystems.com/lab…29/

But I wouldn't be surprised if other benchmarks showed very little difference or even the 2700X ahead. In the real world the system's other hardware and software will make a difference, how good/fast your storage is, not to mention your GPU e.g. a more reasonably priced (compared to a 2080 Ti) RX590 or GTX1660 may give very different results.

Personally I'd go for the better memory controller and higher IPC of the 3600 over the 2700 but everyone is different.

The bottom line is both chips, 12 thread Zen2 (2019) or 16 thread Zen+ (2018) are absolutely fine for Photoshop right now. You could spend a lot more on a system and find in 3 years it is bettered by newer tech which is cheaper at which point you might want to sell and start again or upgrade with a used CPU etc. There's no such thing as 'future proofing', AMD have pledged to support AM4 for a long time but that doesn't mean they won't release AM5 for a long time. Intel are no better though.

Was once cheaper to get 3600x then 2700X lol
If you add the 5700 is pretty difficult to build one at that price
