Omg this is really good!

Omg this is really good!

i think its fair!.... its a bit of a strange combo..

basicly its this: cclonline.com/pc/…03/

but ur getting a X 2700........ and a RX590 over a 1650 super so thats good..!!

just the normal link has 3200mhz ram which u can increase for a few quid extra.

so i think, if u like it go for it, wanna tweek it, call ccl up after doing the order and upping it a little..

so i think its a workable deal even for the picky type of buyers, for the fast click buyers! value/performance its good!

Would this handle the majority of things on GamePass? Only looking for 1080p and to be good for as a few years?

Not a big PC gamer (barring Football Manager) but have needed an upgrade for a while anyway and not getting any use out of the PC element of Xbox Live Ultimate.

Cheers, not able to have a proper look as in work, but I'll take the 3600 and faster memory mentioned above on board.

just made a little post above how to edit it, as a lot in past get confused with it. lol
3600 for the £5 more doesn't sound too bad at all
For gaming, if you want to spend £200 more (40%), try this list of parts out, they are better quality and will give 50% more gaming performance. (Also use less energy as the rx 590 is just a highly overclocked and better binned rx 580)

Hi Sarden84,

I am considering designing a house for myself.... Would this PC be any good for CAD work (as a hobby)? I get a little confused as to what elements are important for the different duties a PC can undertake. I may be able to sway the expenditure with my better half if I can call it a multi-purpose investment.

Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.

This would easily handle CAD
Do CCL have any decent deals for business/work machines? Not sure if they're not posted because they're not as interesting as the gaming builds or they just don't exist

The driver issues would put me off a Navi GPU but they are a good price.

One with an APU would probably be the best best, @sarden84 has posted deals with that before.

yes they do mate.......... however the best deals are in the gaming range, the office versions are very poor value....

ur best of finding a gaming deal on their website, and then giving them a call and swapping it over to a office case lol...

"ebay lists..... cant be edited at ALL now"....... just got off the phone to them, someone last year took the *** out of there ebay deals and changed every part repeatedly and told loads to do it too........ when it turned out the built system were under the full break down of items,."........... ive no idea who that is lol!

but items on the prebult direct on their website can be changed!

have a look here:

edit this one:

or lower without a GPU:

Do you recommend this to be the go to for kids/gaming PC? I am looking for a complete unit with all the hardware (windows I can do myself)
I am kind of on a rush, so I'll take a recommendation, even with a little bit more money.

Thanks

Hi mate.

What's your total budget? Dont over stretch though!
I'm ok with going around 500-750 , should include everything from fan, cooler...etx
I’m new to this but looking to build/ buy a gaming pc but needs to be slim so that it can be lay flat within a tv cabinet shelf (less than 15 cms). Can anyone recommend list of parts that would fit the bill for a decent gaming rig that won’t cost heaven and earth?

ive done a hell of a lot of prebuilds on here, but which one jumps out the best value for me?

its the mini stryker by CCL,

CPU'S:
1600AF: `1st gen refresh CPU which is just under a 2nd gen 2600 performance 6core 12thread bang on for budget gaming
2700 - workhorse 8core 16 thread cpu, just under a 2700x but better price, and u can o/c it.
3600 - 3rd gen, very high performance gaming cpu, the X version comes into play now n then depending on the GAP! right now the non X is the better one, last month it was worth getting the X version,

mb:
Ds3H, a budget board which is very reliable!. good airflow in the case is needed which is what i target anyways,
mortar or equal: premium board for the picky ones, with better VRMs.

Ram:
3000mhz adata, which is affordable prebuilt system ram, higher mhz, its good then the likes of 2400mhz, however depending on the build, which in the mini has the hyper 3200mhz for only a little extra then get that, its a much nicer ram, "but its not a deal breaker!..." as long as the price per build is good. where as the above post as adata 3000mhz as i said its not a deal breaker!

psu:
500w / 600w Be Q power 9 very good reliable budget PSU, in the mini a gold is there for the picky but gold doesnt mean its reliable more, thats all about how much it cost at the grid!.. trust me theres more crap gold ones then the likes of bronze when u think about it!. so the mini and this post has that...

So the mini best overal package, for that proper budget buyer who i like helping!

cclonline.com/pc/…02/
1600 AF 240gb...... rx570.... wifi.... and the better ram..... £482

cclonline.com/pc/…02/
same as above but with RX580 £499...

cclonline.com/pc/…02/
same again, but with a super 1660 £571.....

on top of these u can play around n add more storage,

so past month its been voted HOT as hell on here!! £25 over part prices! *yesterdays part prices* mind u..

this post link editor is here:
ebaystores.co.uk/CCL…ise
change the psu, too 600w...... if u pick the RX580..... odd reason it says wifi in the cards on some..
comes to £581 then £58 off = £521, thats the same package as the middle one, except u have the lower ram mhz.... as i said not a dealer break, but u got a 2700x rather a 1600af for £21 extra

also the bonus of this ebay one, u can drop down to the 2600x to get what everyone else has bought this month that 1600af even cheaper in performance wise!!, u got the option for the RX590 which isnt available in the mini on the main site (only larger styker deal which has expensive mbs )

the main direct link u got MB options, afew other things, so the mini is still suitable today for them buyers the picky ones

so when u look at it like that, this ebay deal is absolulty ........ fantastic!

so what u need to do is work out how much storage u think, is just gaming.. alot might say move the 2700x for a fiver exta in the option to the 3600... but tbh, id knock it down to the 2600x and increase that GPU to the 1660 super!!

my mission if i was buying for my son again, 1660super atleast for a gamer now. unless u got really tight funds,

so ive done it this way to say what the best prebuild ive found on the main websites out of all my builds and now how this stacks up! in comparrsion, and as i said .. .. fantastic! price/performance. but u might need to edit it to your needs but this link is the one!

10% off needs to come off that too.

thats the £600 start of gamer builds, then id look at jumping up gpu to 5600xt in this one......
then id jump the CPU's up.. ideal the 3600....( dont touch the TI!)

that ull get u upto a good £700 system..

any more budget then u need to look at the CCL Ronin Deal for the likes of the 5700+++ gpus / 3600+combos.
Edited by: "sarden84" 4th Mar

that ones not good mate... use the link in this: ebaystores.co.uk/CCL…MDK

click on customize in green.. then edit it.

u do have the option to go upto 32gb with ur link..

but when u whack is down to 16gb again and compare. both with RX580..... 240gb ssd yours is £529 before code, and my link is £538

yours vs mine:
A320 board vs : B450.....
2400mhz ram vs 3000mhz
500w white vs 500 reliable bronze /(600w+8)
case just a little fav on mine.

summary: yours might seem good on price, but there just stacking crap together..

[Image] Have I done it right included windows btw

that is perfect.....

need to look and address:

1) windows as prev discussion....
2) That SSD is "fantastic"...... however.... what you really need to consider, as fine as it is, and i write this so others can take on board too.... as great as that SSD is, u need to consider the total effect on the build, 500GB isnt going to go far, bit like racecar with half tank of petrol.. ull need another tank, if the budget cant be moved its advicable to drop to the 240GB + 1Tb hard drive.... but if the budget is there add on a HDD...... games are big.... u dont wanna be deleting some after uve only download 3 titles..... 1tb hdd is £35... but the 2tb is better value at £50ish.(after code taking effect on the increase ish.).

After a bit of guidance,
I think I’m going to go for this, but swapping the 590 for the 580. (£14 saving and a wifi card included in 580 build)
From what I’ve read about the 590 its very power hungry for not much improvement on the 580.
What are your thoughts?

It's a very good card both are not much of a jump.. and yes it is power hungry.

YouTube 2600X rx590 vs rx580

See 4 your self.

And also compare rx570 vs rx580 (that's what ur call a gap increase.. )

Could u afford the 1600super as that's an elite combo.
