It has a better CPU and GPU than the Xbox One X so should be able to match (and exceed) anything that can do.

Forza Motorsport 7 4k 60fps, I don't think so.

Dunno about Forza 7 (wasn't that a bad PC port?) but you will be able to play Forza Horizon 4 at 1440p/60 at Ultra or 4k/60 at High which is better than the Xbox One X.

Been out of the PC building game for ages.

My last PC I built probably 7 years ago which I still use has a nvidia 1080ti in it.

How does that stack to this sort of thing? I just did a quick compare and it seems my old card does pretty well vs this.

Am I being thick or is my old graphics card holding it up well?
Is this as good as my PS4?
Would this run the likes of WoW at good fps? I'm on an old PC at the moment and it freezes through every loading screen

First off, I'd recommend FiercePC instead, they're a bit cheaper, and they have what seems like a standing 5% off with code "rap5" so you get an extra bit of value there too.

Second, yeah, this kind of spec would play WoW without any issue. Though if you want faster loading times between games, you want a minimum of SSD, but preferably an M.2 NVMe SSD instead. It uses PCI-e to get read/write speeds of up to 3,500MB/s as opposed to the up to 500MB/s of an SSD. A standard 7200rpm HDD is rated at around 140MB/s, and that's being generous.

Don't take less than 16GB RAM, make sure it's no lower than 2666MHz too, though 3000 seems pretty standard these days.
Just ordered one but added/upgraded a few things....

nice addons,.. get rid of the windows install and do it yourself it will save u £100 and cost u a £10er, sorry for the late reply my mum past away today, but defo do windows ur self from the microsoft website and get a code online, which means u can upgrade the gpu to MSI Radeon RX 5600 XT MECH 6GB Graphics Card or even better: XFX Radeon RX 5700 DD 8GB Graphics Card

if u wanted to go slight up/save then: Zotac GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB Graphics Card
Omg so sorry for your loss mate. Thanks for the info it's in build now so think it's too late to change anything but never mind. Thanks for the reply and my condolences to you and your family.

Thanks pal.

It's an internet order u have 14 days to cancel change whatever so get calling!.
It's ok I checked and it's built and currently in test, I need it for his birthday next week hence paying the priority build etc. I'll see how he gets on with it as it is then can think about upgrades based on how he's finding it. How would you do you think it will perform in its current build state, he's only really planning on playing games like fortnite, world of tanks, war thunder etc - will it be ok for that? Thanks again!

itll be great for him, my idea was about upping on the same budget you spent, regardless how far in development it is, 14 days still stands, as for system it would be great for him and offer excellent for all games on the market.
Thanks mate, that's reassuring. I'm partial to a game of world of tanks myself so keen to see how it looks/plays on a dedicated pc compared to a no frills laptop! Be keen to maintain it and improve now I've made the initial investment, just couldn't bring myself to trust those Amazon pre builds.
Bought the other day. Swapped out Gpu for Palit 1660 over the phone. Charged an extra £9.50 for the upgrade.
I also added Wifi network card, 1TB hard drive.
Runs great (so far).

I got Win 10 off Amazon £6.50.
Also upgraded the gpu over the phone to a 1660. For some reason they only charged me £9.50.
The Fatboy has had some bad reviews.

I would def change the gpu to something else. The fatboy takes up a lot of space and can run hot (and loud). The size of the cooler is huge (hence the name).
You can get better GPU's for similar money. Which I did when I bought mine.
Thanks Matt, too late now it's ready to ship for delivery tomorrow. I'll just have to see how it is, I added extra fans and upgraded the cooler so hopefully that helps keep the Fatboy cool! Can't believe I paid the £100 for Windows 10, I should have started my research much earlier
Well it arrived today, switched it on just to check it's all ok for handing it over to my son for his bday and my god it's beautiful! I didn't realise just how cool these things are, I think I'm gonna have to get one myself now! 39885300-DqVrC.jpg39885300-1fg8o.jpg39885300-NM0bV.jpg
