This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

12/01/2019 ""price updated / change of MB to Gaming X - Due to demand on Gaming plus MB..."

Here we have the Stryker 2700 by CCL..

(IF You've read my prev posted styker deal you can skip this lot, the KEY Difference is 2700 price drop on prebuilt It was alot more higher then this so be quick... it may go back up. may not., thought it be worth posting as alot miss the upgrade options and makes the price even better to the general market. )

copy/paste:

**right at bottom for links**

copy/paste/edit:
its been up and down on here quite a few times the Styker deals., its a product ideal for people looking for "prebuilt systems ".

before i get into the product specs, the aim of my recent post are for folks looking at prebuilds at a fair price, with a fair build charge with a good company offering 3 years warranty.

ideal, if u can build yourself, click on the some of the CPU ive posted, plenty of information in each post.

"Once Upon a Time" there use to be a nice cracker of a deal from CCL on their Ebay store, typical build with a selection you could change, and when ebay did a site wide deal, it worked out the same price if not cheaper to purchase a prebuilt system then the individual parts, since.... CCL have joined the regular ebay voucher scheme so prices are high and when that every other week voucher code comes alive its back down to old price which makes that old deal now a bad deal, meanwhile GPU price's have decreased.

so here we have this instead:

This package has a nice selection of products.

so ill start with the base ones "worth talking about" and the regular typical price of that item elsewhere to give u an idea what your getting.

CPU
Ryzen 2700 8cores 16threads £135.00
--- free Xbox Game pass for 3 months.
------ comes with Another game "Borderlands / Outworlds"

MOTHERBOARD
MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX £79
- remove due to price increase of the above, auto link is gaming X

RAM:
Adata XPG (8GB x 2) £27 per 8GB (blk fri has been £24) £54.00

SSD:
ADATA 240GB SSD £24 (Can be had for £22)

GPU:
RX590 Fatboy, 8gb £162... (has been on offer £152.. Ebay code)
- comes with a choice of borderlands game or Ghost recon worth £30ish

Wifi Card
typical basic internal wifi card £11

PSU:
Be Quiet! System Power 9 600W 80+ Bronze PSU £56 (Can get it from 3rd part for around £46 from centralcomputers..)

Aero Cool Bolt + Arctic F12 fan £34.00

Total: £550 worth of parts.
------------------- There price built £577

so £27 build charge which gives you 3 years warranty at a decent selection of parts.

Optional extras

HDD:
Seagate 1TB £34 (on price to what its worth too)

PSU: a few choices,.. have a read up,.. personal id ring up and swap it for this if i wanted gold in my rig: Riotoro Enigma G2 650W £59.99 but ive used the B.Q and had no issues whatsoever. just the Riotorro is a personal fav of mine.

as for CPU Goes,
if your a Gamer, GPU over CPU.. but the price increase to the likes of the 3600x at £49 additional fits well, usual adding extras is more the typical gap between the CPU base price when u look around elsewhere, so from a £135 part to a £188 items is £53, and there charging £49.... so thats unusual and pretty amazing to see for once!.. ) but the 2700x at £58.. which has been £15/£20 more over the 2700 , but thats cos the base price of the 2700x is a little high on the web right now. ive posted a 2700x deal which can be found under my name which makes the 2700x bundle the cheapest method as these methods are the dearest to upgrade,

GPU.
The Rx590 Fatboy is one of a my favs for budget builds, it offers great performance at 1080 levels and the price to performance is amazing, u have the added option to increase GPU to the likes the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING X 6GB which is £257 so £95 over the RX590 and there doing it for £89.... but in all honest does it give you £100 extra worthy investment, not to me but its still a nice card for that kind of budget, the XFX 5700 is the better investment at £137 extra which makes it at £300 mark which is what there base line price is. id avoid the others alternative if another GPU on there website suits u, give them an email or a call to swap over alternative if u wanted to save £22 the RX580 is still a sweet card, u could even email them over a RX570 £109 atm on the website to save abit extra for people on smaller budgets that should be a saving of about £50 then my base build so it be around £518.... (then again for a RX570 ive put out afew £400 deals on here including a RX570 but remember they had a £79 cpu.. half the price MB.... half the price psu.. £111 less part value)

MB:
when you look at the first few £8 difference the clear winner here is MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX, have a read on the web yourself, do the usual on google to give you an idea MB VS MB and ull get the drift.

Case: CCL dont mind you giving them a call and changing this its upto you. just make sure to add some extra fans inside any case, "INCLUDING THIS ONE AS A PRESET BUILT" see link below add on to order, when u get your invoice, pls add fans to case pls.

cclonline.com/cat…ns/

cclonline.com/cat…es/

but if u dont fancy ringing them you can email them @ pcsales@cclonline.com more times its best to call "negotiate"

just make sure you quote that your interested in CCL Code: GAME-PBAR 0400 0201 0200 0200 0100 0000 0003 and that u would like to make some changes to this build rather then a complete fresh build and see what they quote back to you.

meanwhile this product as its stands is decent value.

as usual... prebullds get a hard time on here, so hot/cold its a decent deal.

Cooler Master MS110 keyboard optional extra is typical valued at £52 on the web, only £40 in the drop down..

remember to download drivers from:

2600x is a very good CPU, and is able to handle the best cards in the market today, if u going higher up then a 3600x will handle them much fine.

as for the 2700 goes it is ideal more for folks look at 8core 16thread CPU's.... and at £8 more its really does just over the 2600x today in gaming specs, but more for them workstation folks...

** just remember u can o/c upto the std of 2700x on a 2700 ** do some research.. on it**

if we look at just 2 part prices which i usual talk about.

3600X + 5700 = £488
2600X + 5700xt = £470 ****Ronin deal has no build charge so swallows up the gap between

better FPS on the 26 + xt

id personal go GPU over CPU, but theres alot of folks regardless of what u tell them, want the 3rd generation, plus it gives a little more future proof at the top end if u went higher,

but if your budget allows a 3600x and 5700xt then get that, unless ur the type what wants 3600x cos it is 3rd generation, and get a 5700 and o/c it.

i know my pref... but ultimate the choice is yours, have a look at some bench market test which some combo's too see which u like, not everyone thinks like me,

but then the gap is £8 extra for the 2700 over my typical information i give out going lower, unless your set in stone on a 3rd generation line.

youtube is good:

pop something like this into it.

2600x vs 3600x 5700xt (see the dif..)
2700 vs 2600x
3600x vs 2700
5700 vs 5700xt on a 2600x or 2700 or 3600x

*** i wouldnt take on board the FPS for your own system as they could of OC or run a complete different card brands and never know the settings they really use. , but itll give a general idea of the gap between on both cards and typical under the same system / settings what they got as a base of betweens.

just update it @stustustu85

8core 16thread system mate....... itll be the beast of it in 4K for a budget machine, clearly a 3700x will be the ultimate beats lol but u dont need it, unless your a complete utter professional, NVDia card will be better for it though such as super.. RX590 will do the job good enough, so depends on budget and how much of a professional level u are.. in all honest,

an Rx570 can do VR and a 1050Ti(forget about that in todays standards though.... seriously im not joking) , some apps will require more though, so aim for atleast a RX580 RX590 is a good base at a very decent price.. so id start at the RX590 if can on budget but if u need to cut back u can. ... .....

as for cpu, a 4core ( all ryzen 3) system such as a 1200 will do but a 6 core will hit rec marks. (ryzen 5)

so to put that in respect of this post bottom links in my post: the 3200G / rx570 = min in todays standards.
2600x = recommended

Legend I'll have a look thank you
Previously I've built my own systems, however just now want the ease of someone else to do it for me!!

These build comparisons are really useful (thanks) and the one specced looks perfect, however I've currently got a 1060 which I want to keep for now - do you know if CCL (or AWD etc) offer a similar build without graphic card?

Looking for a machine capable for editing GoPro videos of holidays etc, so not professional editing!

How does the motherboard in this compare to the tomahawk?

Also is the GPU good enough for this? Only looking to spend £550 on a build. Was thinking I could put a ryzen 2600 in and spend another £40-50 on a GPU if that would make a difference?
All these deals are confusing me

I have 1k for a prebuilt + 2 x 8tb HDD + 4K monitor that is perfect for photoshop editing and minimal gaming.

if I spend 250 on a monitor and 250 on 2 x 8tb HDD what should I go for with the remaining £500 (I can stretch that to £600)

thank

This would be right up your street. 8c / 16t perfect pc within your budget

take a note of the above message i sent to the other and email them in but state that you are interested in this exact model but also would like 2x8TB hd..

have a look here: cclonline.com/cat…tb/

then copy whatever into it, or if u find a competitive deal elsewhere on the HDs add them yourself.

same apply for 4k monitor.. have a look the website or elsewhere.

but by the sounds of your budget and needs......... this would be ideal...

alt product: no point saving £8 and getting the 2600x as ull benefit of the addition cores,

typical rule to follow: is it possible to drop cpu to increase GPU within your budget and needs: not applicable within budget and needs..

ps: add afew more stock fans into in the drop down..

same rules basically apply to the above comment i made mate.....

when i looked at the usual golden rule of drop cpu to increase gpu in prebuilt terms, there isnt a card which is £19..... uve got the £40 1660....... which is an option.... could apply for the guy above too.. but rx590/2700 vs 2600/1660 winner: 2700/rx590.... spec when there is £20 in it.. someone else may say go for the laters its on the fence in all honest...

msi.com/com…22]

Do u need a 2700 over a 2600x to do what u need to do no?... so u could just drop down to the 2600 or 2600x and keep to the rx590 for a system at closure to budget if its still abit tight even a rx580 is fine enough for your needs, ^just thinking of that £550 u said as an alt option. *kinda split based on your split answer. of increasing but then whacking that £550 line down in your comments. .so i kinda see why u having trouble trying to squeeze what u like to do in that budget.

3600x £778 / 480gb ssd / Same ram same psu Gaming plus MB / remove: Case/fans £47ucn £731
2700x £771 / 480gb ssd /Same ram same psu Gigabyte DS3H MB (+15) / remove: Case/fans £54 / £732

first set of prices are what it would cost

and a breakdown which is worthy of the investment of a 5700 in real terms value

*remove case and fan price if included, ** the 3600x fans not remove as not added in basic list price.

u do have the option of using the link for the 2600x /2700 stker deal build to jump up to the 2700 for £8and(this) the 3600x for £57..... which the later would work out £10 cheaper then the 3600x main deal but doesnt come with double the extra 240gb hdd which is usual £29 to upgrade.

it's mostly for fortnite and similar > 2600x / rx590......... defo covers that and more.

but for £8 extra now, (shame it didnt happen the first day but it was higher then).. 2700 is the way..... for only £8.

alt option: 2600 method is also an option if u wanted to save some cash, not a huge dip only a degree from the 2600x.....

same applys for rx580 under the rx590...... its your money, its all within budget, im just trying to point folks in the right way and give them choices.

do afew combos on youtube.

rx580 vs rx590
2700 vs 2600x rx580
2600 vs 2600x rx590

^ and so on combo's

and ull get the idea of performance gaps between, dont worry about there fps for ur own rig as it could be a dif line up/setting but itll give u an idea on performance under there settings and hopefull equal settings between judged cpu/gpu.

Hi sarden94, thanks for the great posts! I am looking to buy a new Gaming PC, with £750 to spend and have changed the base specs in this post with the components in bold below. Would you be able to tell me please if this looks balanced to you? I need the 2TB HDD for storage so that is why that is added. You recommend Gold PSU hence that and the CM case appears to have enough fans supplied with it (?). Plus I like the look of it! :-)

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8GHz Hexa Core

MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX
Adata XPG Gammix D10 16GB (2x 8GB) 3000MHz DDR4
240GB Solid State Drive
2TB Seagate Hard Drive (7200rpm / 256MB Cache)
XFX Radeon RX 590 Fatboy 8GB Graphics Card
Corsair TX650M 650W Modular 80+ Gold PSU
Cooler Master MasterBox K500L Mid Tower Case
Arctic F12
3 Year On-Site Warranty Upgrade (UK Mainland Only)

£753.99

Thank you for your time and keep up the great work. All the best.

£762.00

better GPU......... 8core 16thread core system ryzen 7
vs
lower GPU............. Better Gaming CPU.......

GPU will overrule the lack in gaming terms from the CPU Decrease in gaming terms....

CPU will over rule on the 7 for workstation stuff............

so as long as ur not a "I WANNA, I MUST GETTA 3RD GEN"..... 2700 would be more suited.

(my personal choice........... what u think?..........if i was stuck at this budget and needed 2tb..)

& uve gotta have some RGB?!?!.. BOLT is a nice case in all honest, light on front offers some nice effect and ..... rgb fans inside case look nice, dont get me wrong spinning rgb on the front does look sweet..... after abit its get ....... annoying..

maybe thats just me.

alt/ personal choice id whack another £49 and get a 5700

i need to nip out,, back laters to help anyone.

(i can only offer help and give suggestion ideas, end of the day a pc is all about whats comfortable within budget and requirements weather thats on spec or looks) there isnt 2 types of people, hence the broad choice of a given selection at all levels. is the aim of my posts.
I see many of the gaming PCs at companies like Chillblast go with say 240GB SSD and then a 1TB SATA hard drive. Is there any other reason (apart from price) why they do this. Perhaps such as the lifetime read/write limits on SSD, which used to be an issue a few years ago. As I notice you can get pretty much double SSD for your money now and it works out about £1 per 10GB for SSD

I believe it's just a cost issue. The bigger games today can take 100GB+, so having enough SSD space for a decent collection gets expensive. Perhaps the best compromise (which my son has implemented) is a fast SSD for the OS, a bigger secondary SSD for games that need the performance, and then a big cheap spinning rust disc for the bulk of your collection.

Read/write cycles on SSDs are still an issue in theory, but in practice for normal use modern SSDs are good for decades (it's only in situations where data is being written 24/7 that it really becomes a problem, for example in server logging).
Hi Sarden84 could you tell me if this would be able to do VR as it is or would i be better changing something.I have an oculus which i would like to connect to run steam games on.

Thanks for the advice! It is very much appreciated mate. I am 50 years old and the PC will be tucked under my desk so lights may not be that essential, but will go with your choice of case and save the extra needed for the Cool Master case, ditching the wifi card as won't need wireless gaming. I think I will also stump up the extra £48 for the 5700 as suggested.

This takes the total to £802 which I can run to. The 2700 with the 5700 will be a good combo then? Thank you agin for your help
Can anyone recommend a budget pc to run the basic games like fortnite gmod houseflipper on decent settings really wanting it to be capable of running 3 monitors but can do 2 for my son and I'm clueless
You deserve a medal Sarden84......you really do.

I was just thinking that. SARDEN84 put so much into this post answered every question given advice on different builds. Well done mate... Top marks to you... 🏻
Just want to add to this. A lot of people see his activity on these forums but that doesn't even scratch the surface. He is responsive to messages and also on email. Without his help I would still be floundering around. Next stop I might self build.....but that's a big might!

Thanks again.

A Ryzen 5 "2600x 2600 1600" kinda specs with the likes of something like a RX590 comes as recommended specs .....

min specs on the gpu is rx570-1050ti (forget the laters if going new) so yeah this would be a nice spec with out going to daft on the budget VR....... could this change in future?.... defo as VR has even touched its full protentional... VR wont fall flat on its backside like 3D.

nvd cards do handle VR better when compared on like for like parts compared to the AMD Platform though, a little more stability, but not worthy if that means breaking the bank, and the price gap between the likes of a RX590 VS 1660 is more then enough to consider a rx590 over a 1660....... (unless ur a self build where u can sometimes get the odd 1660 right near the price of a R590 as and when offers come along via the ebay codes untill such time the base price comes down, and quite clearly a supper/TI region would be better and give long term future on the off chance VR goes insane, - so if the budget is there go for it, if not dont worry about it.
