You get what you pay for, 6TB and 5 year guarantee and its one of the best performing drives on the market

I know but its going to be used for storage. |I have 2 x 2tb HDD, 1 x M.2 and 2 x SSD loads or room and if this would benefit my PC i would buy it

He's right. Just check Amazon or CamelCamelCamel to compare the prices.

WD Gold are better. The WD Blacks are bloody noisy, had quite a few of them.

2x 3tb in raid0 would save money AND be faster.
£90 each for 2 wd blues??

I got 2 x Red 3TB WD drives in a 2-bay NAS unit for £210.

I have had 2 x WD Black fail in separate machines in the last couple of years and am now moving off spinning disks altogether and onto SSD for everything (plus offsite backup obviously).
