"This Friedland Doorman app cam is a CCTV kit that enables you to keep an eye on a room or the outside approaches to your property.
The kit gives you a CCTV camera that can be linked to your PC laptop or smartphone via an ISP or 3G network. Once set up it can send live streaming to your smartphone.

no, you connect it to your internet (via the router) which gives you access to the camera through a specific internet link, which then allows you see the camera footage through your PC or mobile phone (kind of like giving the camera a website address that only you can access)

Yeah I believe you connect it to your home router and then you have a Unique Web Address that only you and who'ever you give Web Address to can view! Seems good to me!

buy a foscam i paid £70 delivered

Still overpriced. Very poor specification, e.g. short of range at night (5 metres). Not going to recommend or post anything specific but always a good range of affordable CCTV at maplins

straight patch cable is pennies these days i just bought 10mtr for £2

long Ethernet cables are not expensive, but you can buy a foscam, or a Tenvis IP camera with wifi as well as ethernet support off ebay for less than this model

dont buy from ebay there are loads of fakes buy directly from foscam i can supply a 5% of so you will get the camera for £69 delivered

im after a camera for the front of the house to point towards the car, can I view on my pc and record to HD? i'd be interested in a foscam is it foscam.co.uk? thanks
