Not a bad price for a quite recent movie IMO. Know it's doing the rounds in "3 for £20" type offers atm in local stores but for £2.99 you can't really go wrong!

Two links :

Link One - Search for "Dreamgirls" - discount is automatic and will get price down to £3.99. www1.cd-wow.com/pro…Y=8

Link Two - Enter your email address and copy and paste the code upon checkout.

Keep in mind that using double discounts on the one order at cdwow, sometimes results in them canceling the order and refunding your card!

I just tried this, maybe I'm doing something wrong but it's no recognizing the code for £1 off, so it's still charging £3.99. Good find anyway

I got mine this morning, it's region 2 (but not the UK release, not sure what country's release it is, as I can't see it mention a country on it and it's in English)

But I do think it is very naughty, that they show a photo of the UK release, and don't send the UK release.

Has anyone else received theres?

Thank-you

Did anyone else get a non-UK, but still region 2 release of Dreamgirls from CD Wow

They might be Japanese issue R2, or then they might be R2+R4, often issued in Australia. CD-WOW have shipped R2+R4 discs calling them R2. CD-WOW is also now owned / run by an Australian company.

It's coming up as £4.99 for me, I must be doing something wrong or have they changed the price completely?

No, they won't be either (Japanese R2 discs are NTSC, R2/R4 ones have their own special marking on the site). CD-WOW source many 'R2' discs from Eastern Europe and Africa. They're usually dual-encoded for regions 2 and 5. There's never any mention of this on the site, and they often show the UK artwork.
