If I purchase this TV is there any easy way I can check if it's HDCP 2.2 compliant?

Remember to use the breakout scart cable to enable HDR
Any chance you could upload the pic of the tv on the store shelf lowrider007?

Has anyone bought this and is the picture as good as expected?
This one of the better looking 4k tvs as a person that shops there alot .
I am very pleased with it but just a warning its massive so try to make sure to measure as stand point outwards which made it very difficult to get in my room .

Also picture is of uncharted 4 on ps4 .

Does this have a stand in the middle or two feet please
Hello,

Cant see the picture, was hoping to get this TV today, is it really good? Whats the sound like?
Deadcellx2 can you try posting your pic of uncharted again please?
Really nice looking TV. Upscales well, PS4 and 1080p content looks great with really good colours. Watched some 4K films and they look absolutely stunning. Using the relevant modes also really makes a difference, like game mode, cinema mode combined with film mode, all looks great. For the price, you can't really grumble at all.

What sort of games do you play on your PS4? I mainly play shooters and thus would like as little input lag as possible, how is the games mode on the tv?

Very good find, heat added. Deserves to be a lot hotter than this!

Games mode is very good. I play shooters and racers mostly and its been very good indeed. No more lag than any other TV I have used.

If your watching SD content then it won't look great. There isn't anything wrong with the quality of the picture. Bearing in mind the price for what you're getting it isn't going to rival the nano cystal tech in Samsungs or OLED LG's but it does a more than decent job.
Just in the London Colney store at the moment and they have this offer.

It looks a good TV to me, but I must stay strong as my old 42" HD Ready Hitachi is still going strong and don't like buying things for the sake of it (really tempting though ).
Just seen this TV in our Local Sainsburys. Has anyone tried using the vga input for use as PC monitor with good results?.Reason for asking I bought a Panasonic TX-48CX400B the other day from Tesco had to return it as very poor blury picture quality when using vga input even though pc has 1920x1080 output,I realise the tv is 4k which is greater resolution than 1920x1080 but assumed it would handle it easily. The guy at Tesco seems to believe that 4K tvs are no good for use as pc monitor because of refresh rate differences, then why put a vga input on it?.No HDMI on laptop hence need to use the vga. All the inputs and vents on rear of this tv look in identical places to the panasonic so assume a cheaper clone so maybe the same problem. Don`t want to buy to have to take back again with same problem.Any advice appreciated thanks.
Is this TV any good?
I' am looking to get one of these this week but want to know if they will be ok to connect a kodi box up to it? Seems like a good price never heard of the make before would pay a little more for a similar product and better make if anyone knows of any?
to voyager8 bad news i am afraid....the lower end of panasonic sets are now made by VESTEL in turkey...panasonic and numerous other brands have sold theire soul to vestel....CHECK OUT VESTEL WILKYPEDIA.......vestel knock them out for next to nothing and up the price in relation to the brand name
a lot of lower end tvs of major brands are now made by vestel of turkey.....

has anybody with this TV got issues with buzzing/vibration at random points when TV is on?
This is also available at Sainsbury's Redditch
how do I use the internet
Hi just bought one, it does not have WiFi, if the technical people can't sought out why very soon it's going back, anyone else had the same problem??
wifi works fine on my one, very impressed for the price.

also like sainsburys guarantee that i can return it to the store within the next 12 month si fi i have any problems
Just found in my local sainsburys for £290. Amazing picture quality so far and I haven't tried streaming anything 4K yet. If you find one in a store near you then definitely worth a purchase.
Has anyone managed to get Netflix to work properly on this TV? I've recently tried and I get as far as selecting the movie I want to watch but I get an error message everytime. I spoke to Netflix - they say there's no issue with my membership as I can watch movies on all my other devices.

I then spoke to Sainsburys and after carrying out a factory reset and unplugging the TV, but that hasn't worked either. I've now been told to take the TV back to be replaced, however I wanted to see if anyone else has the same issue. If so, having the TV replaced may well be pointless.

I'm a bit annoyed as I was looking forward to accessing Netflix 4k content.
Seen this to in Sydenham, £60 more expensive!

Did you ever get an answer from the 'engineering department' Lowrider?

I have already bought this TV, but haven't used it yet as I'm waiting to move into a new house. I'll be pretty upset if it isn't HDCP 2.2 compliant, not much point having a 4K telly that can't receive 4K input! And I want to use it with HDCP 2.2 accesories, AV Receiver, Blu-Ray etc..

So I have an update: It is HDCP 2.2 compliant!

My enquiries with Saintsbury's didn't get me anywhere, but apparently complaining to them that their contract manufacturer (Celcus) hadn't updated their website in 6 years has been followed up - website now fresh and shiny!
celcustv.co.uk now contains all the specs you could possibly desire
celcustv.co.uk/CEL…php for the item in this thread.
So I bought one of these. After much searching for a new tv to replace the main one which was a 32" Samsung smart one I came across this. Now I will give you a bit of the story.

I first look at eBay, rubbish, kept getting broken ones and bits coming up. So had a look at other online people again no good. One can't get a visual size unless looking at the television. So I came up with a brainwave. Let's go to a well known large supermarket and have a look at sizes. So there I went. First one didn't have much of a choice which I was surprised at however number two was good and after much deliberation we decided to go for a 55". So today after work I went to have a look in a well known electricals store and was dismayed at prices and the way they display their wares. So I went over to Sainsburys and had a look. Et voila, the Celcus 48" television leapt out and said buy me. It wasn't on so there was no picture comparison but I read the blurb and thought if it's that good for my money then it's worth a whirl. Got it home plugged it in. 5 mins later me the wife and kids are watching megamind on Netflix. Brilliant. Great pictures, sounds not that bad a sound bar would be better. Easy to use. All in all very happy with this purchase.
Hello,
has anybody tried to fiddle with optical audio output? I have a dedicated 5.1 system and I would like to know if the TV can pass through Dolby Digital (AC3) and DTS 5.1 audio streams.
Also, does it decode DD+ (EAC3) audio down to AC3 to pass on the optical cable?

Thank you
