9% isnt much considering everything is way overpriced anyways...

will give you some heat though cause i like your second post lol

Poppies included in this?

U could always use the 9% saving to buy a poppy for the very good cause of supporting our Heroes!! Make up for the ridiculous banner displayed by the so-called "fans" on Saturday..

Sorry I don't see the relevance of this post in regards to this deal.

If you want to bring your hate fuelled opinions to this forum, can you please start another thread?

Can we please leave out all this poppy rubbish out please? There's other forums to discuss this other than a shopping site.

Cheers!

There are better places to show teams lying down than a shopping site.

Suprised Celtic have any time for a sale, with all the letters to the SFA about ref's they're sending.

It was a Thankyou note they sent this week.

I quite like the signifigance of 9 .That is whereabouts they would be in the Championship.

heat added, no need for political views here, its a shopping site affter all.

It has about as much relevance as making shameless and disgraceful banners at a football match.

And please don't pretend there were just a few involved...

Timmy in hypocrisy shock.

Cooling this one down.

Not because of Celtic's disgraceful stance regarding poppies or their hateful sectarian chants, but because the tat in the store is grossly overpriced. And a more than a little chavvy.

lets not forget manchester, villa real, barcelona, rangers fans have short memories.sectarian fuelled hatred is it not!!!!!!

Haha got to laugh at these poxy championship fans having a pop at the old firm, outwith man u, Rangers and Celtic are by far the biggest teams in the UK. what other team in the UK can take over 100,000 to a European final and always take 5000 plus to European away games and have over 50k at every home game ??

If we got half the money the english teams get off sky, we would blow the premiership wide open

lmao leicester, your having a fkn laugh !!!

You know it's got serious when the OF jump to each other's defence.

Celtic FC have apologised for the disgraceful antics of a large section of their home support.

They still don't allow the sale of poppies at the ground though.

Celtic FC do allow the sale of poppies at the ground and have for many years.

What made you think they didn't?

Scottish football in general is disgrace, its fans, its quality. Everything is just shocking.

the deal is 9% nothing to do with a few wa nks on Saturday heat from me

Really do not want to add fuel to the flames as I have a lot of friends who are Celtic fans, however, I do have to state that it was more than a just few wa.ks involved in these disgraceful scenes.

Quotes a News of the World Article.

By Siobhan McFadyen ( Notw )

Celtic have banned a charity from selling poppies at Parkhead for Remembrance Sunday .
Now fund-raisers are hoping that hoops chairman John Reid - former defence Secretary - will overturn the ruling.
The ban follows protests by supporters who claim poppies are " hugely insensitive " to Irish fans.
The Poppy Appeal, with its 48 member charities, helps raise millions for war veterans injured in active service.
A charity insider said : " We've never been turned away by any of the big clubs and we find it shocking that Celtic would implement this ban " .
Our welfare work is a lifeline for thousands. We hope Mr Reid will reconsider ".
About 100 fans walked out of a match in 2008 when players wore poppies on their shirts.
But most of the 50,000 fans joined a one-minute round of applause to mark the anniversary of the end of WWI.
A Celtic spokesman said " We don't do collections in the grounds for anything "

A site by Celtic fans for Celtic fans.

Any other clubs that have to have a "minutes applause" as a mark of "respect"? Or does it just cover the boos and jeers?

This is not a football site therefore if you want to discuss Scottish football go to a Scottish football site and leave this site for what it is intended.

Are you the owner of this site or a moderator ? You really don't understand the hatred and animosity between certain sections of the community if you think that any deal involving certain football teams e.g. celtic, rangers, manu can be posted without certain comments. It could equally be said that if you don't like some of the comments and the direction the posts are going in, then don't read deals involving those teams !
Also interesting how some posts have been deleted from this thread, whilst instances of bad language and inflamatory comments have been allowed to remain ?

No its not, your right, but the idiocies of a few, at a game of football are dictating how some people may vote, right or wrong, however having read the comments on the link that worthinger has linked to above, I have decided to delete my previous posts, and not get involved, its hard not to when you read some of the tripe on that site, this has potential to become as stupid as the comments on that forum.

I will stand by initial vote of cold due to the over-inflated prices of football bobbin's in general!! 9% off isn't that much off of already high prices.

The minority of fans opinions does not reflect on the majority of fans. As with anything all get tarred with the same brush and get the shine taken off a great win!

Certain songs and slogans are/were sung by more than a minority of fans both in the ground and in bars frequented by the fans. Collection boxes for certain political organisations were welcomed in pubs used by celtic fans both in Glasgow, London and parts of the usa (before their twin towers thingy),so please don't go on about a minority of fans. Both sets of fans in Glasgow are equally entrenched in their views however, which go back hundreds of years.
I don't think you will ever be able to remove the politics and bigotry from the football, so perhaps just go with the flow rather than try to stamp out what people are thinking by preventing them from saying it. Mind you, many people now forget that manu fans used to sing republican songs as well as celtic,so maybe time will change things.

I may not be the owner of this site or a moderator but do NOT make assumptions about what I do and do not understand. You know nothing about me so how can you jump to such a stupid conclusion!!
This is not the place nor the time for bigotry as I said earlier take the football talk to a football site.
