Con! Voted cold.
Even if they are smaller than last year they are still a bargain. Remember over 10 years ago paying over £10 for a tin of sweets at Christmas
Now it's showing as £4 on Asda website
£4 in asda scunthorpe, fold off by the wife for only gettin her one tin lol
£5 each in Aintree, Liverpool store for the 850g roses, 855g celebrations, 820g quality street and 800g heroes. Not the deal posted but still good price.
Got mine this morning. Good for xmas
Just back from Asda Hereford and I can confirm all of the tins in the Xmas range were being marked from £5 to £4. Hot deal
Tesco have Quality Street reduced to £4 this morning

Smaller tins than last year yes, but the are the same smaller tins in all the supermarkets, not just Asda.

Very true. But its like a lot of food products in supermarkets these days, pre packed bacon is a good example. 200g will cook down to 100g with all the water that is added. There are many examples of supermarket scams when it comes down to size and weight.

I prefer the M&S ones, only 800g for your £4, but taste much nicer
More recycled tins for next years new Kia model.

I didn't know supermarkets could do that, even though I had noticed the wraps my son likes are 8 pack everywhere and 7 pack in Asda. I'm actually really cross now, though I suppose a smaller tin is less calories to burn off in January
they're £4 @ Tesco's too!

That was the price of chocolates, i remember we bought some at £10, people moan about the price of stuff, and how they cant feed their kids, myself i think shops are more abound, and cheaper then years ago,
Can i just ask what price do these usually sell for around late December before Christmas is it worth stocking up now
Just got some Heroes and Celebrations for Christmas.

I've never seen them cheaper any other year tbh so I'm getting them now for the cupboard.

Until a couple of years ago tins of quality street etc were £10 a tin. But you got 1.4kg in a tin. Then they started reducing the price to £7-£10 for 1.2kg. Then they dropped the price to £5 a tin now and you're getting under 800g . So it's not that far off what you used to pay, you are just paying less and getting less 'per tin'.
Expired - now back to a fiver each
