Therefore, we sadly cannot fulfil your order and will be refunding you as soon as possible. Please accept our sincere apologies. So much for stock control....Idiots

I've replied to them stating as it's their fault they should send me the case of 8 ghost ship at no extra cost as a gesture of goodwill, I'm awaiting their reply and expecting them to say no but as the saying goes" nothing ventured, nothing gained"

yes i've had the e-mail saying they have run dry and are refunding, but …yes i've had the e-mail saying they have run dry and are refunding, but how come when they are still selling the same wine?

They are using the 'out of stock' to get out of the massive cock up they've made. The beers I ordered are all available but I have the sane email saying out of stock you will be refunded. Looks like nobadys going to get their 'TREAT10' THEY HAVE PULLED THE CODE so you can't even order anything else. Annoyed, feel a boycott coming on.

Its been posted before maybe that's why.

Yeah I read the later comments this morning and see why. I don't understand why people don't report the thread as a duplicate listing when they notice a duplicate. When someone does that a mod either pulls it or keeps it. So many people saying it's a duplicate but can't b bothered to press report button and select the reason
I didn't notice the previous listing just this one so it helped me

Why? If someone loves Adnams beer, then by voting with their feet because …Why? If someone loves Adnams beer, then by voting with their feet because they didn't get a freebie, it would be their own loss. I would place money on it that for people who love and already buy Adnams beer, they will carry on buying as usual. Its the people who never buy Adnams, haven't heard of them or don't even like ale that won't buy from them, and who cares? Most of them wouldn't have bought again anyway even if they did receive their freebies.

Cannot believe how easily some will let adnams off the hook for this screw up. Guess some of us are ok with being blatantly lied to and have no problem with companies that promise something one minute and then go and do the complete opposite. This is IMHO why so many of these great offers and misprices get cancelled because the company knows there will be little or no backlash. If these companies were really taken to task when these things happen perhaps they would feel compelled to honour their promises a bit more.

Plus it wasn't a freebie. Heavily reduced, yes, free no...

I guess most of us will go drink someone else's beer. Proper own goal.

They ARE NOT honouring this DEAL... just got an email.

Chill. No need to use caps lock to state what we already know. I made that post you quoted yesterday at a time where the code was still active and nothing had been cancelled.

They are not honouring it today by cancelling orders and I have already given my thoughts on that. Peace

Not cool. Not cool at all.

I thought they showed some class last night with the message about honouring the promotion. Now, not so much. I guess most of us will go drink someone else's beer.

Proper own goal.

Why? Adnams are massive. They supply to supermarkets and pubs all up and …Why? Adnams are massive. They supply to supermarkets and pubs all up and down the country. Although this was risky and possibly a mistake, they now have lots of new potential customers and quite a few would order again in future at full price. Plus they will at least be making some money on the free 6 packs because of setting postage at £2.99 (Which wouldn't cost them that much to send as they likely get bulk purchase postal discounts).

Choice is the best it has been for years - just avoid supermarket swill. … Choice is the best it has been for years - just avoid supermarket swill. Beer's always been highly taxed but the "small cans" and bottles are a trick of the craft beer brigade. Stick the word "craft" on the packaging; use 300ml bottle or can and charge the same as you would for a large 500ml bottle. They're not stupid - the punters are for buying it though.

Yes spot on with this , Better range of ales now then ever before! But the big name beers have been watered down. And this craft name makes me lol, way to much money for a littke can or bottle!

In my opinion (humble of course) Adnams beers are the best across the range....a pint of Broadside sitting on the beach at Southwold is pretty close to heaven....

Turn the top bung slowly to let all the CO2 out before pouring, you won't lose any beer.

These are only 5 litre mini-kegs not 8 litres as per title, so not cheap.

Yes I saw that, I think the Op has put 5L instead of 5 Pints in the title

£2 a pint? That's poor.

Your loss. Midleton Irish whiskey is the best I've ever tried & I've tried A LOT.

You'll never find a hot deal for that stuff. NEVER in the bargain bin.

If you're going to be pedantic you should at least learn to use … If you're going to be pedantic you should at least learn to use punctuation. You should also ensure that you're correct too! Nowhere do I see any reference to Scotch? These can also be used to consume Irish whiskey, such as one from the oldest licensed distillery in the world...

If you're going to correct a person's grammar at least write concisely without superfluous verbiage.

Eg.

brew different

bring back barleymow!!! scatter gun approach to brewing, many attemps to get lager drinkers to sup ale. fishermans winter ale sold all winter long for years that noboddy liked or bought because it tasted of liqourice. branding that a ten year old child could of bettered. was and could be a great brewery. what happened to jubilee a great beer very popular. and barleymow was very very well recived. (brewed for two years, the second not as good as the first. stop trying to be all things to all men. ghostship isn't bad, but try saying the name after five pints and you get a T appear at he end. p.s. good names for beers would be "beach hut" and "black shore bitter" love what you could be again. adnams, do different

This is a really tasty real ale too.

kernowdevil23

£1.45 is not "cheap enough" for you?? I'd love to visit your local.....

Your not going to your local though are you? Your drinking it in your house. There are frequently beers/ales in the supermarket @ £1 a 500ml bottle. Like I said it is an alright price, but I would prefer to have a selection of bottles in my garage or go down to my local Spoons and get a pulled ale for £1.95. If the delivery was free I reckon I'd vote it hot and order some.
To be fair I am a bit spoilt by all-grain home brewing, so I am used to having beer on draught for less than 50p a pint.
