CELLO?

HELLO?
Who the **** are Cello?
A 3D tv without HDMI?
I smell a fish....
24p Technology: No

Think i will give it a no aswell 1080p 3D without 24fps that's pretty bad, i bet the quality of this in full HD or 3D is terrible maybe cheap but there's a reason. Earlier on today which is probably still available was a 42inch Panasonic 3D plasma with 2x glasses and that was a £101 more and its in a totally different league to this cheap crap, if you cant afford to buy a decent 3D set dont bother or you will be very disappointed. The problem with people today who say 3D is rubbish and will be a dead format are the people that go out and buy substandard 3D TV's and expect to get stunning picture quality, well that ruins the whole thing.

When we where looking at 3D 55inch TV's a few months ago to replace our z series Toshiba we looked at loads and the quality varied massively, some flickered that bad you couldn't watch it without getting a headache others where just totally rubbish, in the end we narrowed it down to a choice of 4 makes Samsung, Panasonic, LG and Sony after finding out that the LG's range topping passive TV's would only do 720P 3D as all passive sets can only do 720p don't ask me why but its true, LG where out then because we didn't want a Plasma Panasonic where also gone then one day we went into out local Curry's and they had just setup the new Samsung 8000 series so we had a look at that, we where blown away with the looks and the picture quality was out this world, it was that good on the 47inch TV we ordered the 55inch there and then. 4 months on and the set just gets better and better and the price for it is still nearly what we paid for it and its rated as one of the best 3D TV's there is, the gadget show reviewed it against 2 other range topping TV's and it wiped the floor with them and was given the 5* which doesn't happen often. They went on to say what ive wrote don't buy a cheap set or you will be disappointed.

I know this has been a bit of a rant and that not everyone has got £2500 for a TV but when you can get a last gen Panasonic for just a £100 more then you would be mental to go for a no name set.

Cold incase you hadn't guessed.

i don't think m&s would give out a 5 year warranty on a tv being no good
M&S last xmas had to get outside help from HMV security as they had over 40 32" TV's stolen from a store in three days as they did not know how to use the alarm cables to secure them
.
The TV's were not Cello's
I have a Cello TV quite good as it goes
i have a cello tv also. I'vehad no probs with it either. Misplaced the remote, cant seem to get a repalcement.
does anyone know of when to getone from/

thankx

Looks like a good price but average performance

thought this would be hotter than it is. looks great for the price before you even factor in the 5 year warranty

I think you've been smelling too many fish, it says 2x HDMI:)
Thanks op x
Don't think that it's been mentioned yet that these use LG passive 3D panels. Can't comment on this model as I've not seen them, but to my eye the passive 3D technology - for all its flaws - is much easier to live with than active glasses, and you can download SBS movie rips easily enough *cough*.

Pretty good price for a 42" 3D TV manufactured in the UK with a decent quality panel and a 5-year warranty!
this tv looks pants

The warranty is a return to base yourself M&S They also sell the same Biscuits as Aldi yet are 3 timses the price as I know the people who make these, M&S closed down All the staff shops after twenty years, the staff hate them for it.
Your The FOOL mate!!!
seem like a good deal to me, going to get one:{
Quidco has a 10% off at the moment until Friday 4pm. So could give you 39.90 as cashback
looks like the 10% doesnot cover TV's. :-( but will see what happens. Not holding my breath.
This TV uses a VERY good quality LG passive panel, passive is easier to live with than those hideously expensive and cumbersome active glasses!
There are some IGNORANT comments from people who do not realise that the brand on a tv is SELDOM the actual manufacturer, for example, TOSHIBA Tvs are almost exclusively made by a turkish company called VESTEL, they are a cheap budget brand that also make bush and alba TVs!!
There are also some pretty run of the mill Panasonics, if its under £1000 its not a Panasonic panel, its a VESTEL. Please do your research people.
Or get a subscription to Which online who tell you all this stuff!!

Back to the Cello its an excellent quality LG panel, and the best LCD panels still give the most detailed HD picture and are great bargains these days. This panel is superior to any Samsung, Panasonic, or Tosh under £1000

Its only real drawback is the panel is pretty deep, although the flipside is theres more room for the speakers to deliver decent bass.

Fantastic buy!!
Just because it has a LG panel does not make it a good TV,electronics control most of the picture
