Perfect alternative to paying £3 on coffee and poor wifi every time I visit a Starbucks etc to do some work. The Phoenix Artist Club have an initiative for members (membership is from £10 a month), whereby they get free filter coffee, tea and wifi Mon - Fri from 10am - 5pm. The wifi's great, and the place is quiet and really central - 2 mins from Tottenham Court Road/Leicester Square.

With the membership you also get to visit the club in the evenings (they're open 'til 3am) and watch lots of shows for free.

Full details pulled from their website:

I wouldn't want to join any club that would have me as a member.

How’s it free tea and coffee if I need to pay a monthly fee.. it’s unlimited tea and coffee for a tenner unless there is a limit?

It’s a great little place in the basement of the Phoenix Theatre (opposite the Montague Pyke Wetherspoons on Charing X Road). I’ll be signing up for this, thanks.

You aren't paying a fee for free tea and coffee, you're paying it to become a member to gain access to the club. If you are a member, then they will provide you with free tea, coffee and wifi.

The perk of membership is tea and coffee there for that’s what you are paying for. Free means u get with no additional cost. I got my “free” pizza from three today but I pay for my phone contract therefore it’s not free it’s paid for. It’s just an included perk...

They've termed it as free.

When there are deals on here that are for specific people only (i.e. virgin media or even skybet customers ) we don't calculate the price of the membership into a retention deal or free giveaway of theirs.
