I directed my brother to this site five years ago and they now enjoy may, july and october holidays at a fraction of the price for U.K. They like Belgium as its not a long drive and has great water parks at both they have visited.
Most kids will go back on the Monday so you'd have to leave a day early (on the Sunday), worth bearing in mind.
Thts soo good and the price difference is outrageous thanx op, wouldn't mind trying out a centre parks holiday but prices for uk put me off will defo look into this tho now heated, and my kids never go bk on a Monday so I'll be fine always on a wed, or Thursday (wots the point) lol
Also do Friday 26th Aug to Friday 2nd Sept for £408 lots of dates and options available

Gosh how you know these facts
How do they compare to the UK ones though?

I went first time this year and I have booked again for next year exactly the same set up if not better with allocated zones for parking near to your villa not like the free for all in the UK !! I did stay at Les Bois Aux Daims which was new and has outdoor pool, lazy river slide and the weather is somewhat better
Been to lots of center parcs in Europe but went to this particular one end of August this year. We paid £230 Monday-Friday for 4 of us. The accommodation was a house and was perfect only downside was there is no oven. The park was brilliant, loads of activities although a little expensive but the water park was excellent, great variety of slides for all ages and the staff are very laid back in the pool and at all the activities
thanks..hot
Plus £5330 in fuel & ferry fees so you end up not saving at all and costs you more plus all the stress . Colder than a witches nipple on a broom stick.
Crikey what you driving, a tank??
Been to A few of these in Europe.

The French ones are 10x better than the UK CP (nothing wrong with the UK ones by the way), but the one in the Netherlands tops them all !

Any recommends for the Belgium site? Can see two parks, which is better?

No school goes back end of August.
We've been to some of the ones in Belgium and Holland each October half term for the last 5 years. We make a yearly trip out of it for my sons birthday and they're way cheaper than the UK ones. Even after you take into account an overnight stay in a Premier Inn in Ashford, the cost of a ferry crossing (Dover to Dunkirk) and the cost of fuel (we travel from Bristol)
They're all priced in euros, but we've Sussed out way to save a bit extra. We booked ours 2weeks before going this year, and by booking on the Belgian site, for a park in Holland (De Kempervennen) we got it 120!Euro cheaper than booking on the UK part of the site. Yes the language of the site will be different but they're all laid out the same. We paid by PayPal, so no worries about using a country specific credit card, we even put all our invoicing details in and no problems.
We paid 549 euros for 7 nights in a premium 3bed place that sleeps 6,
Can highly recommend DeKempervennen, they've got an indoor ski centre attached to the side of the site and got both my son and wife lessons there this year. There were loads of Brits this year compared to previously so people are catching on to the fact this is a cheaper option.

Both of those things could potentially happen, but not because they missed a day of school.

Actually I think you will find that all the Leicestershire schools go back in August!
Comes up as 607EUR which is still a great deal.
Ours are back on Monday the 5th

And what is 'tourist tax'!
Only a few crazy Schools plus Scotland go back in August. Take the fine and enjoy the holiday
This looks really good! I don't drive though so will need to look into the non driving option some more, but you can't go wrong for that price!!!
Over £2000 for 3 nights in august!! Not what i would call cheap!!

We did vossemeren this summer and was great for us family of 4 with kids 8 and 6. very affordable and great kids activities. Took Manchester to Eindhoven with ryanair was about £40 each return! then taxi to resort. You can go to kempervennan for free, so if you want to try both you can (only 20 mins away)

This sounds fab would be interested to hear about your trip and the place you stayed at. We would prefer to fly rather than drive so it's just working out how far everything is from the airport etc

Where are you getting £2000? Its 400. Price is for everyone not each. Ive just booked easter for 4 in a vip cottage for £270 :-)
Depending where you live in the UK, you will probably need a hotel night stop before arrival. You will need european travel insurance, european breakdown. Calais is a 300 mile round trip to the one mentioned, return ferry is around £100. We have done it before, priced it up this year at the one near Disney, and didn't fancy all the driving, plus I was put off by the reviews. UK Centre Parcs prices have shot up in recent years, I remember having annual holidays there paying £249 for some weekends, sometimes going twice in a year.
