I honestly don't know why people make a fuss about android on sony tv's. Maybe it's because I don't use youview?

Samsung kept everyone at a good distance at CES. Vincent from HDTV test got close enough though. ULED X D will cost less than OLED. Considering the brightness on offer and the blacks we'll see, that's a bargain.

Ohhhhh yes I've heard about the dual panels I wonder how expensive it's going to be though... Had no idea about the microled seams, I'm sure they'll work it out in a generation or two though

I think the OP comment about the TV being the best LED TV had a particular person triggered. Entirely agree regarding different price points and feature sets. You can't beat the X9F at this price. OLED crushes blacks, I found that whilst inky all my sets exhibited loss of shadow detail. Micro LED will have its own problems sadly, largest one? The seams between units are visible. Fantastic upcoming TV is the Hisense ULED that uses 2 LCD panels, one controls the backlighting. It's set to be an incredible TV.

I got a pair of WF-1000X from this seller. They were refurb but absolutely immaculate with all new tips etc. I wouldn't hesitate to buy refurb from them again.

I got a similar pair to these. It's a weird experience but I get used to them, great for working with. I mean, it's direct from manufacture. Chances are these are either brand-new returns or simply repaired, you're not going to be getting a pair with a chunk of wax on.

Do people get on with this neckband style headphone? I have a pair of Phillips and they annoy the hell outta me. Not voted either way

Refurb headphones mhmmm no thanks (skeptical)

Pointless post as they are very rarely in stock

i honestly think people keep posting these without checking they just see them as showing on the available items. Both these and the xm3s sold out over an hour before they were posted i'm pretty sure. I refresh there site multiple times a day and I saw they were sold out long before this post ;(

Posted about 5 times in the last 2 weeks and out of stock. They dont tell you that till you checkout.

Got a black pair of these refurbished when this was posted, I can't see any previous use or scratches at all, very happy with them so far. For anyone checking the website, they seem to only come in stock on weekdays - seems to usually be between 11am and 1pm. My friend wrote a basic script that runs as a service - it checks the website for stock and sends a email/sms message when there's stock, he doesn't have a need for it anymore but if any existing members don't have scripting knowledge and want a near instant stock notification for these send me a PM with your email and/or contact number and I'll add you to the notification list (max 5 members at a time for now). It's not foolproof though as sometimes at checkout delivery shows as not available almost immediately after they're listed.

to be honest with you, id just buy the xm2 for 139, there not worth upgrading , i cant tell any difference in sound, they deffo feel like an upgrade, but not worth spending the extra, ill still keep and sell my xm2

Buy do they sound better? If so how would you describe the difference?

Mine came today, they deffo feel better than my xm2, feel abit smaller, lighter, comfier , and usb c, no more of crappy micro usb,

It's basically a xf85 with a different colour frame and as where the xf85 has 800Hz motionflow the xf87 has 1000Hz. Look at reviews for the Xf85

Can't seem to find any reviews for this model or the 43'' version. Where is your information coming from?

IPS panels with poor contrast and peek brightness.

Why are the xf8 series pants?

These pop up on the refurb section all the time, I ordered the 55 xe8596(rated 9/10 on av) for 580 in December but after 2 weeks when it finally arrived the screen was cracked "bad courier handling" I was offered the 55 xf8796 for 620 brand new with 5 year warranty but the whole 8 series range this year is pants compared to the previous years xe 8 series range and should be avoided. Instead after a request of a price for the xf90 they gave me the 49" for 825 which was a steal FYI the xf90 55 goes on refurb for 799 but they go in no time. Do not buy lower that the xf90. The xe range is much better in the 8 series but obviously does not pop up as much on refurb

The one you posted was a 50hz panel, this one is a 100hz. Motionflow is 800hz on this one on your one 200hz. This is a higher premium panel. Cost £689 from Sony with a 5 year guarantee new. So basically £260 cheaper but with a 1 year guarantee. We have had our 2 other Sony tv's for well over 5 years and never had a problem.

I think I posted 2x 49" 4K HDR TV deals from same retailer about 6-8 weeks ago for £329, so this looks expensive by comparison for a 43". I regularly check the site for refurbs - bought a couple and I agree with you - immaculate condition & quality & they're still going strong 2+ years on

Only 1 years guarantee that's the problem.

Cracking deal. Here's the review from techradar: https://www.techradar.com/uk/reviews/sony-ht-mt300-soundbar They've given a it a brilliant review at £250 so it's a steal at £94

Gutted missed it again ;(

Same, I looked at the Centres Direct website every day for at list a couple of months before I manage to get a pair of the XM2s ... now I’m doing the same but for the XM3s ;)

They sell out fast. Also there is a delay between posting on here and it being approved so everyone can see it. I brought a pair an posted on here but by the time it went live they were gone. I think they only get a couple of pairs at a time and the web site is terrible. Took me months to get a pair.

Same here, i checked myself before posted but OOS before checkout, i have a link save that i check multiple times every day, i need the XM3’s in my life :)

Everytime these are posted i can look within the first minute and they're sold out. Either they sell out super fast or the person who posted hasnt tried to checkout themselves since they don't show stock until the payment screen ;(

yes but still think it to be a good deal

I’ve been fine with my Sony stuff for a number of years. This seem to be a product discount that other retailers are offering at the moment. I’m just waiting for the XF9005 to drop from £1499.

I have never had an issue with mine. You have been unlucky there

This is my Sony tv 2016 model already had main board go down since owing it which did take a lot of time and effort for Sony to do the repair now all’s I get is a lot of Vertical banding drives me crazy when watching Certain programs Sony don’t want to know as it’s Apparently within specification customer services from Sony is Shocking will never touch another tv from them again

So the £150 is not off this TV, it's a voucher you get for buying the TV. Is that right?

Most phones yes. LG's with their ESS quad Dacs I don't think so

just drag and dropped all my music files purchased from itunes no probelm...(dont know why I was so worried!;) and paired up with car bluetooth system 1st time.....well impressed. Great sound, user friendly software and all for £96 (alot cheaper that a apple touch!)....thanks all!;)

Just fitted 256GB micro sdxc...gives 232GB usable space...the Integral one from MyMemory @£27....I can confirm it works fine, there's very little info about max card size's for these players.

Thanks for this BattleBeast1.......I ended up picking one of these up during the 15% off on ebay so got one for £96 with 12months warranty (argos) and hoping I can drag and drop files into the a45 using itunes/Sony media software.....cheers

Ok,I've had a good play with this over the holidays,I noticed the volume is ok with bluetooth headphones but ridiculously low with wired headphones. This is due to a rubbish Euro volume cap,USA and Jap players do not have this....I have just removed it from mine and it's well worth doing,I would say a good 30%+ volume,it just sounds so much better......it looks a bit daunting doing the firmware fix but it's actually quite easy....here's the link,if you get stuck send me a pm. https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SonyNWDestTool

Seriously (lol) of course I did, I even said further up I did the reset function too.. and that I had contact with Sony support who ran through a load of things but now require the headphones back

Did you try holding down the power button and not just tap it?

It’s fine. Turn noise cancelling on and you can’t hear the laughter.

Thats bad luck, hopefully they sort them out. just used mine doing last min Xmas shop and they were great at cutting out the other chaos :) Did feel a bit self conscious as I grew up at a time when wearing big cans over your ears would subject u to intense ridicule :/

Going for over £200 used on Amazon so thought this was a good deal. Not sure if already posted. Be aware these sell out quickly but appear again often.

Yes that seems to have happened this evening as I was on it earlier.

It appears their site is broke. Something about the site running unlicensed software (shock)

The wireless connection is really quick and easy. And if you listen to music in the office or noisy environment, this is like god send :)

thank you! I will have a look at that

Back in stock. Be quick guys!

I suspect there are people buying these purely for resale which is making it tricky.........they ought to block that; There was only a single pair available when I managed to grab mine.

I really liked the WF-1000X, but the ANC was mild at best. Considered the WI-1000x, but noise cancelling was the main driver in paying this much for a set of headphones. So decided to tolerate over ears. May grab some cheap wireless buds in the future if there's a great bargain. But I dont use headphones for several hours a day, or even every day for that matter, so hard to justify much more expenditure :)

So I currently have the sony WI-1000x (the neckband style one) and the noise cancelling is better than the WF-1000x (truly wireless style) but not as good as these over ear ones. Sound quality is amazing and battery life is about 10 hours. Other advantage over the totally wireless ones is that the WI-1000x comes with a 3.5mm aux cable to use when your battery runs out. Maybe look into those if you prefer in ear. I'm after the over ear as they offer the best noise cancelling.
